We are going to make popcorn chicken .
We are going to enjoy it with the movie .
So we are not going to make popcorn .
We are making popcorn chicken .
We will be making it very light , crispy and crunchy outside and very juicy and tender inside .
It's a very delicate dish .
It might go wrong .
So you have to have the right proportion right method .
And that is what I'm going to teach you .
I have tried it so many times and I have kind of mastered these recipes .
This is really useful and practical recipe which will not fail and you will please your friends and of course kids love it .
So give it a try .
Let's make chicken popcorn .
So here is my arrangement .
I'm using skinless boneless chicken brush .
I'm using two rats and it is about one lb and we have divided it into pieces and this is the size we are aiming for not more than a popcorn size or you can say a little more than a P size , but smaller than a popcorn because we have to do coding .
So it will be actually popcorn size when the final product comes .
So what we need to do is we first need to season over chicken .
I'm going to just add some black pepper about a teaspoon or half teaspoon as per your liking some salt and some cayenne pepper or red chili powder .
So these three spices into it and now we are going to kind of marinate it .
So these dry spices mix this well , make sure your hands are clean or use a glove .
We don't want contamination from raw chicken to other ingredients .
So my chicken is marinated with the dry spices .
I'm going to keep it like this for 10 minutes .
If you have time , you can put it in the fridge for 30 minutes or two hours .
This is going to give you the best result .
So I'm just going to let it sit for 10 minutes .
Meanwhile , let's see our other ingredients .
So far , I have added my salt pepper and red pepper into this .
So I have got some garlic powder .
I have got some ginger powder , some curry powder and some chart masala for the seasoning on the top when it is finished .
And I've got some egg white .
So I'm using a couple egg for egg whites and then I've got some all purpose flour .
So what we have to do is we have to season our flour with certain spices as per your preference .
We have to add this couple of tablespoons of milk into this egg white and beat it .
And then I have cut bread crumbs .
So we will pick one piece , dip it into over flour mixture and then coat egg white and then put it into bread crumbs .
Then again , we will be putting it into egg white and again into breadcrumbs .
And then we , we are going to keep it in this plate for frying .
So it's easy .
So let's season our flour .
I'm going to add some garlic powder , generous amount , some ginger powder and to Indian it a bit of curry powder .
So this is it , I'm going to give it a good mix .
So my flour mixture is ready and here goes my milk into this egg white .
So let's get into action .
Here is my first chicken piece .
It goes into the flower , toss it nicely .
So it is coated on all the sides , make sure no excess al flower egg wash , dip it for a short period and then it goes into our breadcrumbs .
So be generous again , shake success again .
I'm going to the egg wash very short period of time into the breadcrumbs .
So this is what we are looking for .
So here is my chicken popcorn batch shredded .
Going to this hot oil .
We are going to drop it into the oil at medium temperature one at a time , it will not take more than 3 to 4 minutes because our pieces are small .
So try to keep oil moving .
So we don't get this sticking to each other and get evenly cooked from all the sides .
So I'll show you in 2 to 3 minutes how it looks .
So , see if these are done only two minutes I have given chicken is thoroughly cooked and also my shell is not burned .
We are just looking to keep the temperature of oil such , we don't burn the crust out fast enough that our chicken is not fully cooked .
