Hello , this is Nick with Nick computer fix dot com .
And here's a quick video on how to do a screenshot within Windows Seven .
It's free and easy .
OK .
I'm gonna show you the quickest way to do this is by using the print screen key on your keyboard .
And it's normally located in the upper right hand corner of your keyboard .
Now to capture an image of anything that's on your screen .
All you have to do is press this key one time and it will place that image into your computer memory and then you'll be able to paste that image into any program that accepts images like a photo editor or a Microsoft office word program for instance .
OK .
Let's go ahead and press the print screen key on our keyboard and something to make note of you get no indication or any uh message that says uh anything has happened , but it has placed that image uh that captured image into computer memory at this point and we can paste that into a photo editing program .
And there's a nice one that's built into uh Windows seven and it's called paint .
And we'll go down to our start menu here and then we'll go up to all programs and then we'll go up to accessories and that will allow us to click on paint and I'll open up the paint um photo editor here .
And uh at this point , we can go ahead and paste that um captured image from our computer memory into the paint program .
I'll press paste here and now it's in the paint program and I can um edit it and in paint , you can do a few , a lot of things actually crop resize .
And uh over here we can add some text .
Let me go ahead and add some text .
I'll go ahead and drag and create a little window here and uh let's enlarge this so that we can see this better .
And uh keep in mind you can change the font and the font size and I'm gonna type in um as my text on this image , uh screen shot one just so you can see how it looks .
And once you're finished um editing uh this image to your liking , um You can go up here and uh save this image now and I'm gonna click right here on this little icon and uh I'm gonna save it in my pictures folder .
You can save it anywhere you like .
And I'm gonna save it as a uh PNG and um I'm gonna call it a captured screenshot rather um one that'll work for me .
And then I'm gonna go ahead and click on .
Uh save .
All right .
Now that um image that I just added it um within paint is now um in my pictures folder on my hard drive .
All right .
That's how you go about using the print screen to do a screen capture of anything in Windows seven .
All right .
Um That's the end of this video , subscribe and like my video .
