Hey guys today I got something very interesting .
Uh It's the nostalgia pop popcorn maker .

Got this from Walmart .
And you can just buy online and pick up from the store .
It's uh , so it's you , you avoid shifting charge and this is for $10 .

But don't let the low price uh , and small size for you .
This what I read online with reviews .
This is one of the best machines you can have .

And that nice , nice red color as well .
So it makes hot and healthy air popped popcorn pops about 16 cups per batch .
That's a lot probably enough for four people .
Convenient countertop size .
Very small and it melts butter in the measuring cup while you're cooking the popcorn .
Ok .
Uh , so we have the machine , we're gonna unplug in a while and see how it works .
And meanwhile I purchased the great value yellow popcorn popping corn .
Ok .
This is like $2 a bag for 32 ounces .
That's a lot because it's great value made by Walmart .
And uh , uh , if you read the menu at the menu and yellow popcorn is actually better than the white variety .
It's easier to pop .
Ok .
So that , that's your preference basically .
So if you don't want to make your own seasoning , which is pretty easy .
You just use , uh , salt sugar and stuff .
But you have , you can buy these Ready Made seasoning from Walmart or other grocery stores about garlic , Parmesan cheese , cheesy jalapeno .
But there's a lot of varieties .
So you can see whatever you like and , uh , just season your popcorn .
So a bucket of whatever bowl you have with the lid .
Why do you need lid ?
I'll , I'll explain later .
And um , so that's something you may , may need .

So let's open up this box .
Oh I actually , by , by the way , we do have butter , which is optional .
If you want butter , have some leftover butter , we can melt in the measuring cup later and pour it on top .

We've got a menu menu book .
It's already there takes out the machine look like this .
Hm Box is actually pretty small .
But if you take it out , you can see this is actually fairly big , big size , right ?
So this is the the top plastic tub which you will , you click in place .
And this is the measuring tub which you melt butter and measure the , the popcorn and the base is here , you see inside this is how deep that uh popping chamber is just pour the popping corn in the popping chamber .
And so this is on and off button .

So let's leave it at off position and get the chord ready cord is in .
Now we're gonna put this , um , secure in place .

Then put , put on before , uh , for the first time used , we want to wipe it out , right ?
Because it may be dirty uh , during the production .
So you , you wanna wipe it , I can basically use some alcohol wipe and wipe out this thing and then use a clean , uh , paper towel to wipe it dry .

For the first time used , we're gonna take precautions and then get the , uh , extension cord ready .

I have cleaned the machine with the alcohol wipe and wipe it dry with a paper towel .
So let's , uh , preheat .
This is important that you preheat the machine .
So you basically turn this on .

It's gonna be noisy , right ?
So it , it , it's important to take 3 to 5 minutes so that the machine is properly heated so that it will pop the corns properly .
Otherwise you , you may have a lot of un popped corns in there .
So , ok , make sure the security is put in place .
Actually , you want to do this before you eat it because the machine gets really hot when it's , you can feel the hot air here .
It's really hot when you turn on the machine .
So make sure when the machine is on , do not touch or let kids near it because it's very very hot .
It could burn somewhere .
So that's something we want to be careful about just like this .

Give me 3 to 5 minutes while , while preparing other stuff that you clean up .
So , you know , open the pop bag from the , ok , so we can measure , this is a quarter cup .

So according to the menu , it's important not to do more or less because if it's more , it may get burned .

Again , it's important not to let anybody or yourself touch the machine while it's operating really , really hot .
And also if you have small kids keep them away , you can give this machine a big space .

Make sure that nobody is near the machine when it's operating because the corns may pop out , the hot cor may pop out from the chamber and hit somebody on the , in the face or in the eye .

So I think that's about give it enough .

Like in the second , it should be two or more but it is less than two pops in a second .

Almost all popped , which is amazing results because we tried the um the microwave version of the popcorn and it's not doing as well .
It's uh almost a third of the microwave bag is un popped and now this quarter cup is almost all popped with uh one or two .
Maybe I can't even see that .

So this is really good and the butter is melting slowly and we just leave it on there .
Use the leftover heat to melt all of them , but it should be done soon .

So now we're gonna start doing the seasoning and it looks like this one is even not big enough .
Maybe we should next time we get a bigger container for that .

So we're gonna put this in and then let's try the garlic parmesan while we're waiting for the butter to melt .

Why it's hot .
It's easier to stick to the hot corn again because it has got some cheese in there .
So the reason why a the container with the lid is that you want instead of stirring it , which is the result maybe uneven , you just toss it in the , in the , in the thing .

So that makes it more evenly and also you avoid any waste because otherwise it's gonna be all of a sudden you'll be sitting at the bottom also .
It's powdery .
You , it might cause coughing .
So , but if you put an , a lied container much better .

So , depending on your preference , you could do more or less if it's not sticking to the popcorn .
What we want to try later is we'll put , um , we'll spray some water or oil .

Leave the machine off for 10 minutes at least so that it doesn't overheat between branches .

And to clean it basically just take the plastic top off .
You can wash it with hand and uh , water and , uh , for the inside chamber , obviously , you don't submerge in the water .
You just do the same thing .
Wipe it with a wet towel and dry , dry it with a dry towel .
That's it because you don't , you just need to wipe out the crumbs and , uh , you don't need to clean it too much because it's getting really hot and I , I don't think any uh bacteria cannot live in there .
