Hey , what's up everybody ?
I'm Charlie .
And today I'm gonna be showing you how to make my delicious homemade fried chicken wings .
This recipe makes about 16 individual pieces of chicken enough to serve between 2 to 4 people .
Not only is this recipe perfect for parties , but it is absolutely delicious .
So , what I've heard to do , let's get started .
Shall we ?
Here is all what you will need to make your fried chicken wings and we're gonna get started with our ingredients .
You will need £2 of chicken wing it and chicken drum wing portions .
Here is Phillips air fryer and I'm going to cook my favorite chicken 65 using Phillips air fryer before I start showing you my favorite chicken .
65 .
Let me quiz you what is the difference between white meat and dark meat in a chicken ?
You can write your response in the comments and I'll pick up few and you will be receiving my full set of cooking dvds .
So let's get into the cooking here .
So today I'm gonna use chicken breast to make this chicken 65 and make sure you cut the chicken into even sizes .
Now , I've taken chicken breast meat .
What is it ?
White meat or dark meat ?
Keep guessing .
So , for the chicken 65 I'm going to take some turmeric a little bit of uh masala powder .
When you're using air fryer , the flavors everything are much better .
So the amount of spices you use , you can reduce a little bit and still you can get awesome flavors in this .
We're gonna add some pepper powder , a little bit of coriander powder and you know Kashmiri chili powder .
This gives the nice red color .
What you always prefer on chicken 65 to get this nice taste .
You can add a little bit of vinegar but add very little .
Now we're going to mix all of these with the spices so that they coat well to the chicken .
Now we're going to add a little bit of salt and this salt is going to bring out a little bit of moisture out and it'll help the even coating of all these masal .
I would give real punch of ginger garlic to my chicken 65 .
Instead of adding regular ginger garlic paste .
I'm going to use chopped ginger garlic for which I'm going to use the Philip Pro in this .
I'm gonna add ginger and garlic and play with my , this awesome tool .
Now , look at this , this is awesomely such fine chopping and this will give a very nice coating for my chicken 65 .
So look at this however good chef I am .
I don't think it's humanly possible for me to chop it so perfect .
Now , I'm just going to mix this all over and I have this .
This is something amazing .
And along with that , you will need some all purpose flour , eggs and some canola oil for your seasonings .
You will need some salt , Tony saturate crill seasoning .
Now , if you don't have this , you can use the Zadar crile seasoning or the sapi marma Rio seasoning .
You will also need some chef Paul puts pory magic cayenne pepper onion powder , garlic powder and some dried thyme .
And there we have it .
Let's get straight to it , add your chicken wing it and chicken drum net portions into a strainer and rinse them off with cold water .
We've transferred our chicken into a large bowl .
Let's add some seasoning Sprinkle .
14 teaspoon of salt .
One teaspoon of Tony Sas Creole seasoning .
For the batter , add three cups of all purpose flour , two teaspoons of salt , one tablespoon of Tony Sachet's creole seasoning , two teaspoons of chef haul Perons , poetry magic , one tablespoon of onion powder , one tablespoon of garlic powder , one tablespoon of cayenne pepper and two teaspoons of dried thyme .
Give this a quick stir .
Now , this does seem like a lot of seasoning , but I can guarantee you it will not make your chicken taste salty at all .
Just the right amount of seasoning can make all the difference .
OK ?
We finish with the preparation of our ingredients .
Here , we have our chicken which we've seasoned and marinated .
Here , we have our eggs , which we've added a little hint of seasoning to it .
We're going to remove the chicken out of the egg mixture and place it into our seasoned all purpose flour batter covered with lid , shake the bowl to coat the chicken with the seasoned all purpose flour batter and this is how it looks when we're done .
Nice and coated .
Now , we're going to take the chicken and add it into the hot oil .
We're going to let this fry for about 10 to 12 minutes .
Now , frying times vary depending on the size of the chicken .
Now , since we're using chicken vignettes and chicken drumets , it shouldn't take no more than 10 to 12 minutes to fry .
It's been about five minutes now .
And as you can see , the chicken is starting to float at the surface of the oil that lets us know that our chicken is almost done .
Now , we're not finished frying the chicken yet .
We have to let it fry a little bit more .
So you're going to let this fry for an additional 5 to 7 minutes .
Now , I want to let you know again that frying times vary .
Ok .
It's been about 5 to 7 minutes now and our chicken is now done .
Now , we're going to move the chicken out of the oil and place it onto our serving dish lined with napkin .
Let the chicken cool for about five minutes before serving .
Just want to give you all a demonstration .
This is how the inside of the chicken looks when it's done .
As you can see that it is thoroughly cooked .
Here is the final presentation and there we have it homemade fried chicken wings .
