It's another really quite gravy outside .
Um And I managed to get some chicken .
So I am going to make tandoori chicken curry , not tandoori chicken as you know , it's going into the oven and just dry tandoori chicken .
But this is going to be with some delicious gravy before I start cooking .

So we're gonna start with four tablespoons of natural yogurt to this .
I'm gonna add one teaspoon of salt and one tablespoon of tandoori masala if you can't find or don't have tandoori masala .

A great two garlic cloves and a big piece of ginger .
Just a good mix here .
I have got six chicken thighs with bone .
I removed the skin and I've got two slashes into each of them .
I'm gonna pour it the marinade on top and you can let it marinade for an hour .
Uh But today I've got time .
So I'm going to let it marinade overnight and I'm gonna cook this tomorrow .
Just rub it really well .
And I'm gonna start with some onions .
I am using three large onions .
Um , and I'm just going to thinly slice them hot pan , two , tablespoon of oil .
I use some flour oil and then in goes the onions .
I'm gonna now cook this for 15 minutes , 10 , 15 minutes until they are really nice .
And while the onions are cooking , I'm just gonna make a quick paste .
So I've got four dried red chilies here and to this , I'm going to add um some garlic cloves .
I'm not one to shy from garlic .
So I'm using , um , you know , 4 to 6 .
Um , then just a little bit of hot water to this and then we'll blitz it to a paste and that is what we are looking for .
These are looking perfectly golden , amazing color .
What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take these out in a plate , leave it on the side .
So here are our onions and here is the chili paste and I've got the pan empty again .
I've added a tablespoon of oil to this and this chicken has been in the fridge overnight because I was a good girl and I remembered to marinate it yesterday .
Um , but you can marinate it for just an hour if you haven't remembered .
Right ?
So this um , chicken just goes , um , on high heat .
I want to get some color on it .
So I've got beautiful color .
Look at that just coming in color .
So I'm gonna turn this around , get the p to heat .
Then I'm going to add in all the onions .
Then we'll add in all the chili paste .
It's gonna be a hot one .
Yeah .
Next goes in all the leftover marinade from the box because I don't wanna waste any of it .
It's all the delicious , delicious stuff that goes in .
Now the spices .
So a teaspoon of salt .
I don't need chili powder for this .
A teaspoon of a couple of tablespoons of tomato puri .
Don't need fresh tomatoes for this because it will change the flavor .
Now we'll mix it .
This already looks very promising .
Smells amazing .
Now I'm going to cover and cook this on low heat for 45 minutes .
Now that is how the curry is looking and I'm gonna finish this with lots of coriander and now we'll pull it up .
This is ready and I'm going to plate this up .
This is absolutely gorgeous .
Oh mm .
Oh my God .
Oh , you can straight away taste the and the long onions .
It hasn't got strong tomato flavor because we just added the puree .
It's so different to the ones we've made before that the masala .
If you can get hold of it , then please do because that is what makes the con makes this curry a tandoori chicken curry .
Mhm .
