How to Make Instant Pot Popcorn

Hey guys , welcome back to six sister stuff today .

I'm making popcorn right inside of my instant pot .

So I'm Kristen .

I am the second sister from six sister stuff dot com .

And I've been getting a lot of comments asking how to make popcorn in your instant pot .

So I had never done it before .

So I thought I'd give it a try .

Now , if you need some ideas of what to do after you pop your popcorn down in the description below , I'm gonna put all kinds of ideas for you that we as sisters have made over at six sister stuff dot com , the website .

So hopefully that will help you come up with some great ideas to do with your popped popcorn from your instant pot .

Now , if you didn't know I have an instant pot Facebook group page where we are getting a ton of people to come and share different recipes , share ideas .

All right guys , let's head on over to the kitchen and make this instant pot popcorn .

So you're gonna start by pushing the saute button .

The next button you're gonna push is called adjust .

You want this little light , the red light to go over to more .

All right .

So we added two tablespoons of oil .

I used vegetable oil .

Then I'm going to dump 1/4 cup of my popcorn kernels in there .

Now , the first time I made it , I just left my popcorn kernels on the side like that .

I do not recommend doing that because they don't pop very good .

So if you spread them out , make sure they're all covered in oil , then they will start popping .

Now , you can do more than 1/4 of a cup .

You can do a half a cup .

Just make sure you add four tablespoons of oil .

All right .

My popcorn is all done popping .

So now I'm just gonna open it up .

Make sure it's good and push and cancel it .

So , turn off my instant pot .

Now you want to take all of the popcorn out of the bottom of the pan and leave the oil on the bottom .

Before you add ingredients .

You add butter , you add whatever you want into your popcorn , take it out , then add your ingredients right now .

My favorite popcorn is my mom's caramel popcorn .

It's delicious .
