Yes , the spring is trying to show itself and I'm in my kids .
My house is small so it's getting hot real quick , but that's either here or there .
Welcome to my kitchen .
Um , chicken fried steaks .
You guys , this is what he making .
Chicken fried steaks and um , fries but not just your regular fries .
They're um , garlic parmesan fries .
They're really good kids love them .
So we're gonna need about two cups of flour .
And what season you like ?
I choose garlic powder , seasoned salt , posi flakes , onion powder all in here and two and one teaspoon of baking powder right here .
I got two eggs about a couple of dash of hot sauce .
Oh , and I got paprika in here just for color .
And in here I have two eggs , a cup of butter milk and a couple of dashes of hot sauce .
And I'm just gonna stir that up and of course you guys , you're gonna need your , um , whatever steak you choose .
I choose to use this steak right here with this , um , the cube steak because they already tenderize this for you .
If you choose to use another type of steak and you wanna bang it out to get a tender , put it between two pieces of plastic , um , wrap and bang it out .
These are my fries .
Yes , this is about five .
This is about five fries .
I with the skin on and cleaned them , put them in cold water .
So let's go back and get started .
This is my , um , milk mixture and this is my flour mixture here and you're gonna need something to let your , um , take to sit on before you .
Actually , I'm cooking because you want to rest while you doing each one .
And I'm just gonna Sprinkle a little bit more seasoned salt on top of my steak cause you know you want that stuff seasoning .
OK .
So first thing I'm gonna do is that this is going in my buttermilk mixture .
Yes , this is just the egg sauce and butter milk .
Why , why do they call it chicken fried steak ?
Because it's ST and you cook it like chicken , let it trip off .
It's gonna go in there .
Not going be .
And I'm gonna do a couple of these .
They don't get nice and coated with that and I'm gonna let it sit , shake the flower and just let it sit right there all here .
I'm gonna do another one going into my egg mixture .
OK ?
You guys and then let it drain it drip off and again , it's only two eggs , some hot sauce .
And a cup of butter milk .
If you don't have butter milk , you can use regular milk .
I'm going in with my hands .
You guys , it ain't right if I don't use my hands , I'm sorry , I have to this way .
My mom a never been doing it for a long time .
Let it rest right here .

Yes , I'm gonna use this for this stuff .
And if you decide that you're running out of butter , milk mixture .
Depends on how many steaks you have .
I have a lot today .
Let's go ahead and make some more and then the egg strip off there and put it in there and it just , and why that one is in there real quick .

I got my grease cooking .
I bought a couple of vegetable oil cooking on the stove .
Oh , and I'll make a country gravy to talk this you guys .
So it's not yet .
It's not almost time yet , but it will get there .

You guys , you , it's something called soap and water .
You clean up our , let's get it nice and coated again .
This flour mixture , the seasons that you like and add , just add some more flour in there .
There's a little bit more um , seasoning .
Ok , I'm gonna wash my hands .

So the grease is hot and my steak has been sitting and I'm just gonna go in and get back and it's just like chicken .
These gonna be some big ones , they gonna cook into their golden brown , but this fan only gonna get two in at a time .
So we gonna let them cook .
I got it on a medium heat as they turn golden brown .
Then we gonna flip them .
I got my stove at fries on a medium heat , medium half and just let them cook .
You can stand there watching for a second if you like while I get some more on , get going again .
If you right out of your a mixture , just add a little bit more butter , milk , add a little bit more egg .
That's all you gotta do .
All you gotta do is sitting there that season your steak a little bit .
Even though you season your flour still season that steak a little bit .
Just tell me that mix .
You want a nice good steak .

Yeah , like I ran out a mixture because I'm making a lot .
You guys for everybody to eat .

So you guys are flipping it and I wanna say , I wanna tell you how many minutes it is .
It stayed on that side because it tips like this .

I cook it like chicken , you know , when it's golden and brown .
Oh , I don't like this thing .

I know what I'm about to use it .
It is like you can't go wrong and the , go to utensil or , um , look at that , look at that .

So I got a whole bunch of these to cook .
You guys , I'm not gonna let you sit here and watch me cook .
Like , got about like 12 or 15 of these to cook and they're kind of big .
You got like the gist of it .
The , um , the milk part , the flour part and you cook it and your vegetable depends on how big your pan is .
How many I'm thinking I could have got three in here , but when I first put it in here , it ain't look like I get three , but I wish I did three .
But guess what , when both sides are golden brown and nice and flaky , see how flaky it is and everything .
It's gonna get a real good crispy crunch when you bite into it .
And I'm gonna show you , show you these , you gonna show these , uh , I'm gonna show you the end result of my own of my , um , what are these things called ?

The every sauce of my chicken fried steak guys after I get about bit before I'm gonna cook , I'm gonna come back and show you how they gonna rest on this baker's rack with , I'm gonna fall on the cookie sheet and let them rest and stack on top of each other .
So again , this is like a medium high heat .
You know , that's all fried .
Like you fried chicken .
I'm telling you if I had to say about 12 minutes , but fry it like a fried chicken .
When it's golden brown , you flip it , put it on the other side of it .
Cook so it's nice , crispy , golden brown and then you remove it from your fire .

So , so as these seven finish and uh , but they looking good and nice and they crispy .

I had a change of grease on them but they're nice and crispy .

We're gonna make some country gravy .
No , do not wash your pan .
Ok , because you want the , no , you want all that seasoning and a little , the bits of the hard crust and all that flour .
Oh , that's gonna be good before we get started on that .
I got my grease going for my fries .
This is about five big long potatoes I had .
Now this is how I dice mines .
You could dice , you could dice them , how you wanna dice them , do what you wanna do to them .
But this is the season .
We gonna go with pepper , garlic powder .
Caesar salt , parsi flour and parsley flour , parsley flakes .
Hey , I get this with things that we all want and my onion powder .
So onion powder and I strained them .
I had them sit in the ice cold water , frosty flakes back back some .
This is the onion pat .
I meant the garlic powder because these are garlic fries .
You guys with Parmesan cheese and a little bit of seasoned salt .
Ok .
Sit in there , put your hands in there .
Do what you gonna do to them making season gritty .
Mhm .
I'm losing some of that's OK .
These are me and my family so I'm gonna pick them back up about the sink .

And you may want to do a little extra , I keep the skin alive .
You don't like the skin a little extra garlic powder cause they're garlic parmesan fries .
These are my version of fries .

Had that grease going and they go as soon as they start getting golden brown , we're gonna take them out .

You stand back and what you wanna do is that once you pal them on top of each other like that you wanna be able to , I use my mouth , push them down , push them down off the top of each other and let that grease cover .
Look at that , look , look , look how that look .
You gonna get some good fries you get .

So and I'm gonna lay them when they come out , I'm gonna lay them on this baker's rack and I'm gonna toss it with some Parmesan cheese .

If you got fresh grated Parmesan , you could do that .
What I'm telling you if you don't like garlic , you may not like these fries so you can do it about the and just season the way you want .
But I want the cheese to melt on a real good .
So I'm gonna hurry up and put that on there .
Yeah , this some Parmesan cheese .
I'm gonna throw on top of them loom around girls .
Guys who love cooking around , stand back brand .

So I got two .
I got end up with two thing .

I got two rounds of fries but look at that .

You guys that's on some .
So after these fries get done , we gonna go in with that crunch of gravy .
Remember after you stack them on each other , push them down , push them down .
They don't stay on that medium high and they don't cook .
That's it .

You guys , I told you be a little bit of grease in here .
I want to suck up about two teaspoons , maybe three teaspoons of unspar butter .
And to this , I'm actually drinking some flour .
I'm making my country gravy .
You're not gonna use water with this .
You're gonna use milk .
OK ?
This is about four teaspoons of flour .
Maybe five .
I'm also gonna season it with a little bit of seasoning sauce because remember it still got that seasoning in here from that um , you know the Grip the Grip from the um , cooking the cedar grit in here .
We cook the chicken fries steak .
See that didn't take long to get the consistency .
Oh , I'm turned down to a low .
I want that grit to and just boiling of milk .
I'm gonna go in with maybe a cup and a half of milk , maybe a cup .
That's about a cup .
Let's go on with a cup of milk .
That's my boy .
There you go .
And making some good old white gravy .
It's gonna get thick .
I turned it down .
Yeah , and stir it and I want to get too thick on .
See , those are the remit of the , um , the chicken fried steak .
And you know what guys , I just realized I had , um , grated parmesan and I want you guys to use the shredded Parmesan wasn't paying attention .
But if you got shredded Parmesan , that's what I want you to put on there .
Not the grated .
I want this to get thick .
So this is about a cup of milk to what I made to like five teaspoons of flour .
And I just let it , I'm gonna let it simmer until it get nice and thick and it will thicken up .
Just let it cook already .
Season it .
And if you don't want all of that extra grit and the flavoring from your meat in here , just clean your pot .
Put about two tablespoons of oil and 22 tablespoons of unsalted um butter and I'm sweating , man .
Don't touch me , don't touch me .
I'm sweating and I sweat .
I know what we cooking over .
Somebody might say something about it .
So , so um yeah , so you don't have to do that .
I like to see it getting thick and it's starting to get a little bit too thick for me .
So I'm gonna add a little bit more milk to mine .
It be like a thick gravy or a thick gravy .
See how it's getting thick .
Mm .
And it tastes good .
It tastes just like the um I don't want my stick .
So I went in with maybe a cup and a half of milk like I initially said , but if you don't like hunch gravy , this white gravy .
So if you like the gravy , go ahead and use water and again , this is ready .
So guys guess what ?
When I come back , this is gonna be plated for you .

I went in with a little milk because it was getting too thick for me .
But if you like your step thick , you're good .
That's how I like mine .
It's gonna get a little bit thicker , but I didn't want to be as thick as it was .
