How to tie the Trinity Knot - Step by step instructions

This is a tutorial on how to tie the Trinity knot .

First , you're going to place the tie around your neck and the thick tie should be about one inch above your waistline .

You will notice that we will mostly be working with the thin side .

The thick side will be used for the first step only .

So for step one , pinch the thick side to create a dimple .

Now take the thin side and bring it across and over the dimple .

Next , bring it under and up through the loop and pull it towards the same side .

Now you're going to bring it under into the other side .

No stop , bring it up and loop it through and then you'll pull it through to the same side .

Now you'll see a little heart forming next .

Cross it over the heart to the other side .

Yeah , it's been shot .

Now , bring it under and up through the loop , then pull it through the knots .

Now , just stop have .

Now here's a little hint , keep the upper loop a little loose .

So next , bring the thin tie under and over to the other side and now you're just going to pull it up and through the loose loop , straighten out the Trinity knot by keeping it loose the next , just take the thin tie and tuck it under the neckline .

Now , pull your shirt collar down and you are complete .
