Hey , y'all .
Welcome back for another episode with Cha's Lifestyle .
Today , we're gonna make some juicy baked chicken .
So here I'm just showing you my clean chicken that I already cleaned off camera .
I'm just gonna talk to you a little bit about , you know , educate you on chicken a little bit .
So you wanna make sure you use um some shears to really scrape off that skin from the chicken to ensure it's no feathers on it .
Um Any unwanted fat , go ahead and trim that off the cartilage or anything you might not like make sure all of that is trimmed and I also clean my chicken with lemon sea salt .
Sometimes people use vinegar that's up to you in cold ice water .
So next , after I drain it , I'm just pat drying my chicken .
That is key when baking chicken .
So I'm gonna add in my olive oil all over again .
So once you add in that olive oil , go ahead and give that a really good mix , pushing that olive oil under the skin , all of that .
So next I'm gonna add in my seasonings .
I will have all of my ingredients listed below like I always do so be sure to check that out in the description box .
My oven is preheating .
Now you wanna give that a really good mix push in those seasonings to make sure they stick really well on the chicken .
Now , for me , that's key .
You want to fix that skin that way .
Um it bakes evenly and also it just makes it look better for presentation purposes .
So I have my baking pan , I'm going to add foil then put place my chicken on there .
Let's uh , marinate our chicken for about one hour .
At least if you can overnight .
That's perfect .
But if you're in a rush like me , we're gonna do for one hour and you don't need any spray or olive oil because you already put that on the chicken .
I'm gonna place plastic wrap over it and like I said , one hour , then once we do that , I'm gonna preheat my oven on 3 50 bake this for about 45 minutes .
Bake it to your liking .
If you want to bake it longer , you can , if you want to bake it at a lower temperature , you can just be sure that it's fully cooked .
Now , halfway through , I am going to be adding some of a little sauce since I didn't have any sauce on mine .
I'm gonna add in , um , it's just butter with a little bit of the same seasoning I use for the chicken .
We're gonna place that back in the oven for the remainder of the time .
Look at that .
You can you see those juices super flavorful juicy and of course tender .
