Gentlemen , we're gonna learn how to tie the Pratt knot also known as the Shelby knot though it's been around since the 19 twenties .

The Pratt knot was made famous by the news anchor , Don Shelby who used this knot exclusively .

The main characteristics of the prat knot are one .

It's a medium size knot and it's easy to tie two .

It will work for both business and social events and three .

This knot fits best with a point or medium spread color to start tying the prat knot drape the tie over your neck for this knot .

You'll have the outside of the tie facing towards you .
