How to make cheese popcorn ?

Hi , everyone .

This is Stephanie Manly with copycat dot com .

I have always loved popcorn and I recently started making delicious cheese popcorn and I want to share with you my way to make cheese popcorn .

Now , I'm using a certain type of popper right here .

It's called a Whirly Bird .

I'll put the link down below .

You can use this method on a stove top .

So we're gonna go ahead and get started on this .

I'm gonna go ahead and turn this up pretty high .

The next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna add in about a tablespoon of coconut oil .

I like to use coconut oil .

It's readily accessible nowadays .

So when the oil gets nice and hot , we're gonna go ahead and add in our popcorn here and I just started using this special type of popcorn salt .

It will taste a lot like movie popcorn .

So I'm gonna add about a quarter teaspoon of this special popcorn salt .

You can see it has a lovely yellow color right here .

We're gonna put that in and we're gonna begin to turn and our popcorn will begin to pop very soon .

So I said it was gonna be cheese popcorn and it is .

So I have some dried cheese powder right here and now you can find this in many grocery stores , maybe not the brand , but sometimes Kraft will sell their cheese powder .

Also , some spice stores also sell this .

So we're gonna stick on a couple of tablespoons of this wonderful cheese powder and we're gonna stir it in .

Alrighty and here we go .

One big bowl of cheese popcorn .

Do you need to use cheese powder ?

Yes , you need to use cheese powder .

I'm sorry , just sprinkling some cheese on top .

It's not gonna do it .

It's just gonna be melted and it's not gonna be exactly what you're looking for .

So let's go ahead and give this a try .
