Major Scales - How to Play A Flat Major Scale on Piano (Right and Left hand)

I'm going to play a flat major scale one octave and then I'm going to teach you how to play it .

OK ?

We're gonna start off by giving the fingers to the hand .

Some numbers on the left hand is the finger 12345 .

On the right hand , there's the finger 12345 .

And this is the middle C , we knock it down from the middle of scene and we're gonna put finger number number uh three of the left hand on the uh on the A flat .

So here's the pattern going up and coming down for this scale three is a flat , be flat .

One is C , you're gonna cross finger number four over finger .

Number one to the D flat three is E flat two is M one is G , you're gonna cross finger number two or finger number one to the A flat .

So that's the pattern going up now to come back down , you just reverse that , that you just reverse it .

So it's gonna be two is a flat tuck finger number one and the finger number two to the G number two is now three is E flat four is D flat .

Tuck fing .

Number one under finger , number four to the C two is B flat three is a flat .

So that's the pattern going up and coming down for the left hand , practice that and when you're comfortable with it with the left hand , come back to this video and work on the right hand .

Now , we're going to work on the uh right hand , the middle C , you're gonna take finger number two and you're gonna put it on the uh A flat down from the middle C .

And so here's the pattern going up and coming down for the right hand two is a flat three is B flat .

You're gonna tuck finger number one under finger number three to the C finger .

Number two is D flat three is E flat .

You gotta take finger number one , you gotta take it on the finger .

Number three to the F to his G three is a flat .

So you just reverse the pattern going down .

Three is a flat to his jean .

One is F , you're gonna cross finger number three over finger number one to the E flat to his deep black .

One is C .

You're gonna cross finger number three over finger number one to the uh V flat to his A .

So that's the pattern going up and coming down for this scale .

Uh practice each hand individually and when you're comfortable with it , uh put both hands together .
