It looks to me like the make and bo is getting stronger and stronger .
So I don't know what this means for Mittens II , I don't , what's up guys .
So there's something funny going on with the chess dot com bots .
So let me try to explain what I have noticed and we'll see if we can figure this out together .
So first thing I'm gonna do is actually sorry , not that one .
I'm gonna move my face over here .
So it's out of the way for a second .
Um If you remember recently chess dot com , if you saw my video on this or maybe you haven't .
Uh But chess dot com had added a bunch of cat bots and there was , I think five total starting with some low rated ones which are not appearing anymore .
There was like an 801 a 1000 .
Then we had Mr Gruber's at 1200 cats bra at 1400 the infamous Mittens rated one , but it's actually like stockfish level 3000 or something .
It's really strong .
And uh there's lots of videos going around youtube with Mittens right now .
Ok .
Mega chess , how to play the rules are the same as regular chess except for these changes for a refresher of those rules , check out this video .
The object of the game is to be the last player remaining , lay out the blue side of the board and centered along the flat edge , set up white pieces as you normally would set up black on the left and red on the right , leave the fourth row empty and start a rook with the outer fifth row .
Then follow the diagonal path up on the outside edge of the board , setting up the pieces as you normally would with the kings across from each other on row nine place ponds to the right of black and the left of red white goes first , then play proceeds clockwise .
Ponds are allowed to move one space forwards , backwards , left or right .
But they can only capture one space in any diagonal direction including backwards .
Even to their back row .
Now , I'm gonna play Megan and get the three stars and then we're gonna just kind of keep an eye on the situation and see what happens going forward .
I'm , I'm expecting , you know , some sort of , I don't know , I don't know .
But anyway , let's go ahead and choose Megan and we will play against Megan .
So here we go , let me move my face back over here and here we go .
So we're gonna play E four .
I'm all odds and ends right now .
Really ?
You'd rather I'd rather you not see me like this .
OK .
I don't know what's happening .
We're just gonna keep playing the game .
All right , let's go for the , the bishop B five check lines .
Ok .
Knight to D seven D four is pretty standard here and we take it with the queen because the knight cannot attack our queen on C six .
So it's a nice centralized location for the queen .
Let's just develop .
All right , we'll trade this guy off .
No problems there .
It should be J five age six .
Ok .
So I could give up the bishop or I could just kind of wait and maybe do this .
I'll just , I'll just hold off for the moment and we'll just drop back queen to a five .
Ok .
I think now is a good time to castle .
The question is which way this is definitely more aggressive , but it does get the rook on the def foul right away .
I do like that .
This is probably the safer option .
I'll be aggressive .
We'll play Castle's Queen side here .
Get rook G A .
So the thing about that movie is Black's King is either gonna have to go this way or it's gonna be stuck in the center this way looks pretty open .
I mean , there's a lot of missing ponds here .
So there's some , definitely some weaknesses if the king castle's there .
So I'm anticipating , it stays in the center .
So a move like E five makes a lot of sense just going ahead and putting some pressure on the king .
So let's play E five .
OK .
If the third player's turn is in between , then they have the option to stop the checkmate with their move .
If they want .
If a player moves a piece so that a check is created by another player , then that player may not capture that king .
If the next turn is theirs instead , they must make a different move .
And if the check remains after that turn , then the following player needs to address it .
A player may resign at any time when a player is checkmated or resigns , they are eliminated from the game .
There are three options to play with to determine what happens next that you should agree to before starting the game .
Option one , remove all the eliminated players' pieces from the board .
Option two , leave the eliminated players' pieces on the board , those pieces may not be moved or captured but are instead obstacles for the remainder of the game .
Option three , leave the pieces on the board .
Uh This is a free pawn if I want it , I could bring in the night and come over here also looks very good .
Uh Let's see , where is the queen going to go if I go there ?
Maybe up here .
All right , we'll just take the bond .
Both moves look pretty good , but I think this is fine .
Ok .
We trade that .
We still have this threat .
Ok .
So she goes queen C six .
I think now might be the time to play nine to D five .
What other moves do I have ?
Actually ?
Let's see , maybe queen D five threatening or just taking the pawn .
Actually , I forgot about that .
I could just take this .
Am I worried about my night is the question you could take here .
Uh There would be check .
No , it's not check me .
What am I saying ?
Uh So takes takes takes should be OK .
It looks pretty good .
So I'm gonna do that .
I'm gonna take this one .
We might get a queen trade here .
That's fine .
They may not move but they may be captured like normal by the remaining players .
If you reach a stalemate at any point in the game by any single player , then the entire game ends in a draw for all three players even if one of them had been eliminated earlier .
Uh , but I'll see you guys next time as always stay sharp , play smart , take care .
