Today we're making these amazing glazed air fryer doughnuts .
After so many requests from you , I thought it was about time I got an air fryer .
The first time I made these doughnuts , I was shocked .
Oh OK .
Let's bite into it .
Not only were these incredibly soft melt in your mouth ?
The video speaks for itself but you really cannot tell the difference between Dred doughnuts and these babies .
They only flour sugar , salt and a dash of nutmeg .
This is my yeast doughnut recipe adapted for air fryer doughnuts .
If you made those doughnuts before you will absolutely fall in love with these , add the dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and in a jug combined milk , melted butter , one egg and the yeast .
The full recipe will be in the description box and on my website dot com .
If you don't have a mixer , make the dough by hands , I'll leave a couple of videos in the description box on how to need dough by hands .
For all of you using a stand mixer .
Consider yourself lucky mix the dough on high for about three minutes .
In the meantime , you can subscribe if you're new to my Dad .
Hello there , welcome .
Make sure to subscribe and click that bell .
I post new videos every week .
Grease your bulb .
This is a yeast based recipe .
You know what that means ?
We'll have to wait for the dough to rise .
When I say three minute air fryer doughnuts .
I'm referring to the actual cooking time in the air fryer .
I found this to be absolutely amazing because compared to regular oven doughnuts , these do not compare flavor wise and texture wise and everything wise .
OK ?
And they cook up instantly , just like fried doughnuts form a ball cover well , and allow the dough to rise for two hours or two hours later .
Flour , your work area or your dough will stick , your dough should have tripled in size .
That's perfect .
She's ready to be rolled out , tip the dough onto your board .
And unlike regular fried doughnuts , you don't want to roll out the dough too thinly .
You want to aim for about an inch thickness .
This is because in the air fryer doughnuts do not get that instant shock of heat that they would get from deep frying , which gives them that big rise .
So by not rolling out the dough thinly , we're giving them a head start , place your dough onto a baking Sheila and with some parchment paper and with this amount of dough , you should be able to get about 10 to 12 doughnuts , 11 doughnuts , let's say now you'll notice when you re gather the dough and try to roll it out again .
It's just not gonna work .
She's gonna pull back .
It's like if you were to go for a run and then somebody were to say to you , ok , now fall asleep immediately , you're just not going to be able to fall asleep .
Ok ?
You need to wind down .
Same goes for the dough .
She needs to relax .
So cover her , well , her chill for about 20 minutes and she'll be ready .
In the meantime , you can brush the other doughnuts with some melted butter .
This will give the doughnuts color and flavor .
I like to do this immediately .
I know some people like to do this after the final rise .
However , you may risk , you know , knocking out all the air .
So I would do it before back to the dough .
She's relaxed , she has rested and it's ready to be rolled out again .
I really wanted to include this info in the video just in case it's your first time making dough .
And by the way , this is true for any dough .
If you let that gluon relax , if you love the dough to continue to hydrate the dough will be easier to stretch out .
Go ahead and continue to make the doughnuts , brush them with some melted butter and allow these to rise for another 45 minutes .
Patience is key for this recipe .
I'm telling you these are worth the wait .
If you don't feel like waiting , check out my two ingredient , doughnuts .
They're amazing .
They're delicious .
But come on , nothing compares to yeast raised doughnuts .
You're going to preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius or 3 50 F .
If you want to buy an air fryer , I highly , highly , highly recommend to get the one I'm using .
I'm not sponsored Phillips does not even know I exist .
I literally just went on Amazon Italy and got the one with the best reviews .
Ok .
So you can do that as well .
You want to brush the basket with some oil and gently place four doughnuts into the basket .
You're going to cook these for exactly three minutes .
They should be beautiful and , and soft .
The first time I was testing this recipe , I was shocked .
I know a lot of people love their air fryer .
I was very skeptical when I got mine .
It exceeded my expectations .
Never did .
I think doughnuts could come out this amazing and soft in an air fryer .
I'm making glazed doughnuts today .
The recipe for this glaze will be in the description box .
We've made it a lot of times on the channel .
I love it .
It crackles just like the Krispy Kreme glaze allow the glaze to set for 10 minutes and dry .
These are amazing .
You won't be able to tell the difference between fried doughnuts and these air fryer doughnuts if you have a little bit of time on hand with fall and winter coming , you're probably gonna be staying indoors a lot more .
Ok .
So you can definitely make these , these are soft melt in your mouth .
They have that beautifully crackly top .
They're everything you want in a doughnut .
Make these , I promise you , you will be amazed how amazing these are .
