The BEST & CHEAPEST Motorcycle Chain Cleaner! KEROSENE!

Hey guys started a Canadian rider .

I was about to head for a ride actually and I realized I haven't cleaned my chain in a long time and I want to share a secret with you how you can clean your chain way more effectively and for way cheaper than with the regular chain cleaners out on the market .

So probably like you guys , I went to the store or a motorcycle shop , you get your chain cleaner .

I use tool .

So I've been using that for a while but it can get expensive .

It's $15 a bottle , went online and did a little research and a lot of manufacturers recommend simple care kerosene , the same kerosene that you could buy Canadian tire .

I bought this , this is 10 liters I bought from Canadian tire for $15 .

Um This probably has 10 times the amount of a $15 moto chain cleaner , for example .

Um I never thought of kerosene at first like as a chain cleaner .

And I read online all these people talking about how effective it is and manufacturers recommend it .

So I wanted to give it a shot .

So what I did was I put a little bit of kerosene in a spray bot because you need to spray it on your chain .

Uh , obviously mark that it's 100% car and you don't want to spray this on your engine or on your bike or your car or whatever else .

Um , and this stuff is super effective .

Guys .

I was really shocked how effective this is .

I'm gonna show you on my Ducati the chain here .

Um , It's really starting to rust out .

I haven't cleaned it in a while .

It needs a good cleaning and this thing just destroys dirt .

It just makes it melt away like hot , hot butter through knife .

Um , really impressed .

And again , you guys know , I hate spending money where I don't have to like , yeah , I have a Ducati but I still want to get the best bang for my buck out of anything I buy for it .

Right .

So it doesn't make sense .

I'm spending $15 from a tool chain cleaner when I could spend $15 and get 10 times the amount of even better product .

This clear kerosene from Canadian tire or whatever home hardware store that you have put it in a spray bottle .

This is gonna last Me forever and it's doing an amazing job like this is doing a better job than the , the tool chain cleaner that I was using .

Um , and it's saving you guys a lot of money and I'm all about saving us a lot of money .

So go to your hardware store guys , get that 100% clear kerosene um and start using it as your chain cleaner .

Try it out .

I'm gonna show you guys how effective it is on a , I want you guys to go there , save yourself some money .

Get a jug of this and get a little spray bottle like this and just start using that .

I seriously don't see this .

I seriously don't see myself buying chain cleaner for the next five years anymore with that 10 liter bottle .

Honestly , it's not often where the cheapest solution is the best solution and this is the case and I love that that solution is available .

So clear , kerosene guys at your home hardware store , whatever else .

Canadian tire , pick it up , try it out .
