900WHP Barra GT350 First Pulls (Terrifyingly Fast)

Welcome to today's video .

It's been a rather tough morning and it's not because I'm tired .

It's not because I have a headache or that I don't feel that great .

It's because I'm coming to the realization that I'm getting old .

I think I'm actually at the point where for my daily , I think I enjoy having an automatic car which is like kind of wild but being able to like hold my drink and not spill it all over myself while I'm trying to modulate a very aggressive clutch , leaving a crowded Starbucks parking lot .

It is not fun .

I always get coffee over my pants , but now I can get the sippy lid .

I can hold it in one hand and I can just slush my way out of the parking lot .

Not a fan of the slashes .

It would be cool if they were like pops .

But yeah , I never thought I could , I could actually enjoy driving an auto .

So it's kind of cool .

This is some foamed up bullshit .

I've been desperately waiting for the pumpkin cream gold brew to come back and this is my attempt at trying to recreate it .

To the best of my ability .

It's not too bad , but it's also not great if you get it and don't like it .

Don't be mad at me .

Pretty sure I already showed this in a video but super satisfying .

Looking at all the parts that I had powder coated for the R 34 I'm slowly just going through stuff , figuring out what goes where and trying to get all my placements for the bolts and everything and this finish that's kind of like a satin black came out .

Absolutely perfect .

One of the many cool new O E M pieces I got from Terra FMA was a brand new ac condenser , so nice pretty unit rather than the old crusty one that was in there .

And this has just been super satisfying just slowly putting things back together , all new hardware , all powder coated , all painted , just taking my time and slowly doing things here and there .

All right , it's the big moment to test the car with this other trends controller and see if we can get it to work .

Yeah , so apparently this thing is still flirting for the most part .

So we'll just want to drive around and just kind of let it do its thing .

Just keep an eye on just in case we have any sort of issues with the freeze club .

I'm like super excited , but I'm also nervous because there's nothing we could do it all into .

I'm going to leave it in auto and see what it does .

It literally feels like a stock .

I set the R P MA little bit higher than it was , like , standardly set up as just assuming because it's , it feels pretty good .

That feels really good .

I , I don't even think twice about it .

There's no weird stuff you're supposed to drive around with for a while so we can learn and it might do some sort of like weird behavior in the beginning .

I could deal with this .

This is a nice ride .

Do those things that , yeah , I can feel it kind of like slip it a little bit as the power comes on , but it doesn't feel bad .

This thing pulls like it's like dead hooks .

It almost feels like we need to turn it up more .

Once we enable the trans break , what a trans fake does , but it sounds spicy .

Just wanna go hunt down some mustangs .

I've said this in videos before U CS back in session , which means the mustangs are everywhere .

But we got a Mustang behind this dude .

They're everywhere .

I mean , it probably didn't respond .

It's weird like the way that the trans works like it feels like it's slipping in the beginning .

But now that I know how auto trans works , it's because it has a really high stall converter , right ?

So it's not like doing stuff .

I still don't understand how it works , but I understand enough to know there's not like a manual trans where some slippage is normal and not a bad thing .

I wonder if it feels a little weird too because it doesn't have a sway bar in front .

That's why I was gonna ask you .

Maybe that , maybe that's why the alignment feels a little bit off because maybe the sway bar had like tension on it , right ?

Dude , I'm really happy , bro .

It's so weird having a blow out on the car .

I bet that's what it is because think about it , I shifted there and it felt like I didn't really do much and it just lit the wheels up .

This thing makes a lot of traction , those eyes and mouth , those eyes won't .

I haven't tried these on any car yet .

These are the N N T 555 R two .

It's like their new drag radio that's supposed to be competitive with the Mickey Thompson that on another car .

I'm really happy with it so far .

Now , now we get ac work in that stereo .

The body control module timed out for some reason .

It's not , it's not cranking .

It's like it lost the tax signal .

Uh We had a wire in a police commander .

So Adam called me freaking out .

Uh The bear mustang broke down and we are going to say that right now .

Yeah , my car just shut off .

It's easy fix .

We just don't have the right stuff and I , and you know , I'm , I'm not gonna say it , it was going really smoothly .

So , oh my God , he just got his head .

Why , why wouldn't he wait for no traffic ?

I , I've never put so much faith in showing his hands .

You got a family to go home to you say I'm a , I'm a dude , you stopped in the middle of traffic .

I made a left turn with an oncoming car .

Wait , what did the strap broke ?

Basically , what just happened is what would have happened if we didn't have a crane signal going into the stock E C U .

And we have like the stock fuel system , there's a body control module basically timed out and it was like , no , you're done driving .

Uh There's like a little wire that just kind of got caught in one of the belts basically tore the crane signal .

Um So it's a super simple fix and like for a first drive with everything that we were doing , like if that's all that happened , that's pretty good .

Yeah .

Cool .

Attempts are good .

It was ripping like this thing's fast .

It makes you sit in your chair .

Oh , yeah .

By the super lot of , yeah .

So , sounds so cool .

Trying to punch it and see what ?

That , it , yeah , that's funny that it let it hit limiter and then shift .

It's like , it almost knows .

That's what I was worried about though , in full auto mode where it like shifts and then the fuel speeds and it starts to , well , yeah , because that's the thing .

The mustangs have so much torque in such a long way around that they wheels me like crazy and then it pulls people in the media and stuff .

I think it has to do with how the diff does weird stuff too .

But we know it works .

That was a wide open auto shift , right .

First year Spence confirmed , dude .

It's different .

So I was worried about the car how it felt like , because it's not the same , but it's fun .

Yeah , it's not ad D 2 50 but it's like , it's something completely else , dude .

It feels like it's a wheel is like , dude , and it ripped up after , like , it's just weird because I still , like , I understand enough about automatic transmissions .

But in my head it's like , oh , we're slipping .

But it's like , that's kind of what automatic transmissions do .

God , it's crazy .

He's letting the power come in and I can still stiffen up the suspension on here , bro .

Like now it's on stiff mode .

I just , I don't know what's bad for the trans or what's good for work , but it's working the valve just spinning off .

Kind of looks crazy without the hood on .

I don't even know how to explain it .

Does it feel really fast as a passenger ?

The crazy thing is like the whole reason why I was ok with doing the bear on this and why I don't do 1000 horsepower in any other cars is because I knew that the chassis could handle it and like 900 horsepower in this thing feels like 607 100 in the R 32 .

Like this chassis does not feel like it's overpowered yet .

Like it feels very much so like mild , like nothing to worry about .

Best thing about is we can put four people in this .

I get scared because if it's an auto mode and it starts doing that and it shifts the build even more wheels .

That's exactly how that happens .

The line is not very good .

Right now , I think the alignment is ok .

So I went in the settings , there's a couple of different characteristics that you can go in .

There's like a soft shift setting which I had in before a medium firmness and a firm shift setting .

We're going to go and try on the medium purpose and see how everything likes it .

I'm nervous to go super firm just because that's going to put a lot more shock on the drive train .

But I'm worried that it was slipping so much before that , that could have potentially created a lot of transmission heat and maybe excess wear .

I don't really know much about auto .

I can feel it's a lot firmer .

Yeah .

Mhm Who that felt , dude .

Shore shifting like the bee's knees , you feel it just like do crazy stuff .

I think the A BS freaks out .

Do you hear like at me when I do that a little bit of traction control is still a thing .

Me , dude , it's just , I can't explain the feeling .

I don't own a car that feels anything like this and I'm afraid the videos aren't going to do it justice .

But it's like honestly , it's the closest I've ever felt to when I wrote in Ruby .

Yeah , because Ruby has that top end power where it just feels like the most wild thing .

I don't know .

I literally can't explain it .

It's like how I imagine taking off on a roller coaster feel I don't know .

And the Chef War dead God .

That feels crazy , dude .

This thing is an animal man .

I'm like , I'm not usually worried about cars getting me in trouble , but I'm like this one a little bit .

The gearing is so long too .

So when we do like a third gear pole , it's like four or five seconds .

Like the second , the 23 , we're doing like , well over uh 50 miles an hour .

So we finally took the bear out for its first rips .

I don't know if you thought Johan , but that was a blast .

It was like nothing that I've ever driven before .

I hope that the footage does the justice .

I know we still got to film some flybys .

Maybe we can get some of those in the next video but overall , I am beyond happy with the car .

This is actually filmed the day in advance .

Johan's already working out some stuff to finalize the exhaust .

It's like different .

It was , yeah , it's not a drift car .

It's a pretty much a drag car .

It's just making a lot of power and that's what the like the boot pressure are taken out of the mid range and stuff .

So yeah , I forgot .

I don't know if you mentioned that in the video , but this is like not even the full , full kill mode .

If you remember on the dino , I pulled out one of the mid range just for traction purposes because right now it's making 700 ft pounds of torque and about like 8 80 wheel versus not 100 ft pounds of torque and 9 50 wheel , which would have for sure , just lit the tires up and done more mustang things .

So I want to get the car dialed in its current state , do a couple of suspension mods to make sure the car goes straight and doesn't have a lot of like flex or do weird stuff and then we'll start turning the power back up and see what we can do .
