While lace football boots might not be for everybody , it's safe to say at this point that they are here to stay and whether you are already on the lace football boot bandwagon or looking to jump on for the first time ever , you've come to the right place because today I'm going to be ranking all of the lace football boot options of 2022 from worst to best sticking with the top end options because as I've reviewed on the channel , the budget friendly lace take down models from the Adidas brand .
Simply aren't very good and aren't worth the money .
Speaking of which , if you are interested in any of the football boots , I'll be talking about in today's video .
You can pick them up below the normal retail prices by way of some exclusive S R for you coupon codes by checking out the links down below .
If you guys end up finding this video helpful .
Please don't forget to support it with a like , subscribe to the channel if you haven't already for reviews on all the latest football boots of 2022 feel free to leave your own rankings for these football boots down in the comment section for those of you that have seen my review of the Adidas Predator Edge .
Plus it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that I personally think this is the worst top and lace option available in 2022 .
And it's not to say that this is a bad pair of football boots because I actually really like the changes they've made to the soul plate and stud pattern has a nice solid base to it .
And I love the additional grip provided by the zone skin rubber elements scattered across the upper .
However , as a pair of lace football boots , especially at two $175 which basically opens your options up to just about any pair of football boots out there .
I don't think the lace system itself is all that great .
It's very small and doesn't allow for very much adjust ability to the base shape of the upper , which as a whole , I think is overly wide , has too much volume and because of its overall stiffness , it just doesn't move nicely with your foot , which is exactly the opposite of what you want from a pair of lace football boots in order to have the best experience .
I don't think they fit the best .
I certainly don't think they're the most comfortable .
And again , you just have better options out there for the same amount of money or less .
And if you absolutely must have a pair of lace predators going for last year's Adidas Predator freak .
Plus not only are they going to be less expensive and on sale , they pretty much offer all of the same qualities in terms of giving you that additional grip on the ball , but offer a fit feel and lace system that just works significantly better .
The Adidas Copa Sense plus is by no means a bad pair of lace football boots .
However , again , considering the $275 price tag , I'm not sure they're the best value and I'm not sure as an overall package , they're well rounded enough .
I love the shape of these football boots .
I think in terms of making it a lace design , they really did a good job of making the upper feel like it wraps your foot very closely .
However , what they did with the heel liner in this sense pod system having these large kind of foam pods , it does cause some discomfort .
It can be very abrasive and for a lot of people including myself , it can result in blisters , especially in earlier color ways where they didn't add the micro fiber lining on top of those foam pods for me , it's just not a pair of lace football boots that feel comfortable enough .
And while it does have the merit of being a Kangaroo leather lace boot , it's the only option currently available .
The amount of leather you get is so minimal and it's so thin that the overall experience of this football boot is more of that of a knitted football boot .
Given that the majority of the upper is made from a knitted material , pair it up with the soul plate and stud pattern .
That is a little bit bulkier than it should be making the overall weight of this football boot more than you might expect as well .
It's just one of those options that while is good in some ways again , isn't well rounded enough to justify its price tag .
Now , this is where the boots actually get quite solid .
The new balance to K V three plus Pro is the lace option from N B , which I realize is not the most popular football boot brand , but give them a chance .
And I think they'll impress you given that this is a full knitted upper with the lace construction kind of similar in terms of what you're getting from the copa sense plus and the predator edge plus those retail for $275 .
These are going to run you 210 at full retail and given that they're not the most popular boots , you can often get them on sale for significantly less .
I think the feel of this knitted upper is better than both of those Adidas boots in terms of comfort , as well as touch on the ball .
And the lace system allows for much more adjustable as well as additional tension with the elasticated syrup that kind of sits across the top of your foot giving you more lockdown .
And like I said , those more expensive options would provide , it's also the only lace football boot on this list that's available in a wide fit option .
So for somebody that has really wide feet and still really wants to try a pair of lace boots , this would definitely be your best bet in the wide fit variation .
The soul plate and sub pattern is also solid .
And again , in terms of what they cost , it's actually a pretty good value for money proposition .
Speaking of great value , the Lotto Selia 104 gravity coming from the brand that more or less popularized lace football boots all the way back in 2006 with the original Lotto zero gravity , they're back again and now producing a pair of lace football boots with like many other options out there , a full knitted upper for the retail price of $200 .
You're also getting a mid cut design with that retail price and overall the fit the comfort , the softness of this upper and especially the lockdown .
Given the lace design is really , really impressive for the money .
The soul plate and stud pattern is actually really solid as a base as well and the boots are a lot lighter than I think you might expect them to be lighter than all the other options that I've talked about so far in this video again , for $200 especially if you're looking to try something a little bit different .
You cannot go wrong with these versatility and adjust ability is typically something that you give up with a pair of lace football boots .
However , if you opt for the Puma future jersey 1.3 , you have the option to wear them with or without laces .
And I've said this in my review , I'll say it again right now .
I think this is a much better football boot with the laces intact , better lockdown , better responsiveness overall , the performance and comfort I think is better when your foot is more secure in the boots .
However , according to Puma , this was designed to be worn with or without laces .
And I kind of like the fact that especially if you're trying a pair of lace football boots for the first time and you're kind of a little bit iffy on the concept .
You're not sure if the lack of lockdown , which typically is associated with a lace football boot or at least less lockdown than something with laces having something where you have the option to put the laces back in .
If you don't like them as lace football boots is something that's really nice as it is .
Right now .
It's a super soft knitted upper .
I think it's one of the most comfortable football boots currently on the market .
And again , the option and security of being able to put the laces back in the football boots , I think makes this from a versatility standpoint , especially considering the $200 price 2000.1 of the best football boot options of 2022 .
Simply put and of course , this is just my own opinion .
Yours might be a little bit different .
The Adidas X speed flow plus is the best lace football boot ever made , not just from the Adidas brand , but ever .
I don't think anyone has ever done it better than this .
And I think what they nailed so well is pretty well everything but the upper in particular , the shape is perfect for the silhouette of a lace football boot .
It seems to wrap your foot very closely and works well with a wide variety of foot types .
The lac system doesn't have too much stretch to it , which does mean putting them on can be a little bit tricky , but once they're on your feet , they feel remarkably secure , which is exactly what you want from a pair of football boots in the speed category .
The heel lockdown because of this reverse velcro heel liner is phenomenal and also surprisingly comfortable .
The boots as an overall package are very lightweight as well .
And then of course , the speed frame played with the carbo insert to me is one of the greatest technical achievements in the football world in terms of performance that you can actually feel pair that up with a super aggressive FG stud pattern .
Even though they are expensive at $275 .
I think these are well worth the price of admission .
And again , if you're on the market for the best of the best in the lace category , certainly , if you're looking for that barefoot , feel you can't go wrong with these .
