Yearly Grocery Haul _ Costco Haul _ Ikea Toddler Bed _ Shipping Groceries on the Barge

Well , we have some exciting news .

Welcome to uh , a yearly grocery haul number two .

Um , we decided we were in Washington right now and we decided that in the long run it was gonna be just as cheap or about the same price to just send a barge hall from here then to pay to go back to Juneau and put it on the ferry and all that .

And so we're just gonna shop down here and be our IKEA because we need to get a toddler bed for Bonnie and I don't know , see what else we need .

Hopefully it's a quick trip in and out .

But you guys know how IKEA goes .

It's set up as a maze for a reason .

So wish just luck .

Yes , they found the kid birds or buy our daughter her first big girl bed rolling out , got a bed , got some other stuff .

You'll see later .

I'm just gonna go ahead and show you what we got while we're waiting for Joe to pull over .

So we got her bed and the mattress that goes on it .

We couldn't help but get bunny .

This cute little panda bear .

Oh , we got her two fitted sheets for the mattress because it's extendable .

So these are for like the smaller part , which should be in for a while .

I got a , I don't know , I can't remember to those couple of scrubby , got some cute dish towels .

Chocolate bar .

Just use that .

And this is a nice big Colander .

Oh , yeah , Colander is the , oh , it's so bright .

Um , and going into Casco , we did , are you ready for it ?

We did a lot of shopping already today .

Uh , well , kind of , we went to a few different places .

Yeah , we , uh , looked at a lot of stuff today but we haven't been to Costco yet so far IKEA .

Uh , and then we found a bike for Chelsea and a , um , like a baby stroller bike thing , trailer thing , trailer for Bonnie is exciting .

And , uh , now we're doing the last of our shopping today .

It's approximately 5 30 PM .

Yeah , we'll see how long we're here .

We'll see what Costco can do for us today .

We might have to come back tomorrow probably , man .

We , all right , Costco Hall .

Much easier with Joe .

We're gonna have to still go to the store , Fred Myers or whatever and get some other things .

But this is pretty good .

Started with two cards .

Now there's three .

It's like I said , it was like five something when we walked in .

Now , it's 8 23 .

We walked out technically at like eight ish , but we spent the last 2025 minutes or so .

Uh , loading stuff into the back of this truck .

Um , you've seen video , I'm , I'm sure .

Anyway , um , so it hot .

Um , it was like 91 degrees today which were after coming off of the one oh 71 oh eight that we had yesterday , um , felt really nice but still , I mean , loading stuff is just hot , hot , hot there .

You , um , anyway , so here's , it's , we'll see some more stuff before we go to the barge .

I'm sure .

Um , but that's day one of really shopping shopping , we got more , trust me , we've got more , we had to go to a different Costco but they have gluten free flow .

The trunk is the back of the truck is getting fuller and fuller .

So today is the day we're taking everything to the Barch and , um , I just wanna clarify that .

This is not , um , I'm sure this won't be everything we need for a year , but this is gonna be a good chunk of it .

And hopefully most of this will with what we already have at the house because we don't just completely run out of everything before we go shopping .

It just kind of depends on when we're traveling .

So right now we're traveling and so we are trying to stock up with , um , a good amount of stuff that we'll need for the year and our vehicle kind of limits it also because the back is totally full now and we have two tos in here already and we still need to find Joe a bike and get a few other things .

So we will be heading to a barge soon , but we're not quite done yet .

Truck is about as full as it can possibly get Joe a bike and we're heading to the barge , got our paperwork , then we got our vests and now we're gonna head to where we'll actually be building the tote , putting everything in it .

So we're gonna go down by that forklift down there .

Here we go .

The maze begins gotta stop for a little snack when you haven't eaten breakfast or lunch and it's 3 30 in the afternoon .

We need snacks and water .

It's kind of hot .

All right , I think we got most of the stuff out of the car .

Now , we got to get it in the box .

Well , this tub is pretty much all the way filled up .

They can go higher .

But , um , I think we're just gonna have them .

I think they're just gonna end up making us another tote because we still have to get our bikes and the baby trailer , the bike trailer in there and there's still a bunch of stuff .

Had , um , we're done going on the barge .

Uh , first tote was 5 75 .

The second tote was 66 75 .

Yes .

Uh , so it's gonna be a good chunk of change .

But , uh , they're actually not having us pay for it until we pick it up in cake .

So , uh , we don't know how much it costs yet .

Just gotta go for it .

We did it .

Yeah , it's been a long day .

We haven't really , I have a gluten free .

What was it called ?

Um , not a muffin , uh , cookie .

Oh , no .

Uh , I had a gluten free English muffin for breakfast and that's all I've eaten today .

And , oh , and I got a couple of gluten free cook , like little gluten free cookies at a store .

I had to go to the bathroom in and , uh , Joe's had like a couple of pieces of toast and then we had those bars while we were putting stuff on the part .

But we are super thirsty and really hungry and we have to go to the bathroom , but we're on our way back to my mom's and then we'll pick a couple things up and then we have to leave again and go finish a few more errands before we can really be done because we always end up saving a bunch of stuff for the end .

And here we are the last day trying to do a million things .
