And also tell you how to apply it in your videos .

And also I'll show you how you can create this effect by your own in a premiere pro .

So let's get started .

So first of all , you need to download the preset file from the link in the description below and then import that preset effect in your software just like this .

Select the effect .

Tap , go to the preset folder , right , click on it and import the preset .

So this way you have to import the preset file .

Now as the effect is already in my software , let's jump into the main point .

First of all , you have to select two video clips , why you need to apply this Luma effect effect .

Let's select two video cliffs .

Let's select this one and this one now plays the second clip under the first clip just like this .

And now let's select one of the effect from here .

Let's select this one dark to bright stress to fit and apply it in the first video .

Now see how it looks like , let me render it for a clear view .

So now you can see it clearly see how it looks like it's changing slowly from the first clip to the second clip .

Now here you can see total 12 effects six under bright to dark and six under dark to bright .

Now what is the difference between bright to dark and dark to bright ?

Here , you can see this section is bright one and this section is dark respect to this one .

So in these effects , first , the bright one will change or will convert to the second clip .

After that , the dark section will change .

And for the dark to bright effects , these two sections will change first , then this way of the bright section will change .

So let me show you if I select bright to dark , then see what happens .

So here is the first video and here you can see the west section which is white , which is comparatively bright than this two section .

So if you apply this bright to dark Luma fade effect , then first , this bright section will transform to the second clip , then rest of this two section will transform .

Let me show you how let's place the second clip under the first clip , then apply this bright to dark luma fade effect .

And now see how the effect looks like .

See the white section changes first , then rest of the two section changed .

See you again , the effect looks awesome .

Now let me show you if we apply the luma fade effect , dark to bright , how it will look .

Let's delete this effect and apply this dark torte effect in the first video clips .

Now see what happened next .

Now you can see the dark sections transform first to the second clip .

Then the white section .

Let's compare these two effects side by side .

Let's put the bright to dark effect here .

Now yeah , the whole video this is dr bright and no , this is bright to dark .

So this is the difference between ate bright to dark and lu dark to bright effects .

Now let me show you what is Luma fade .

Hold if you want to hold the effect somewhere between the video , you can use this effect .

Let me show you how just apply this effect here and see how it looks like .

No , see this effect hold for some time in the middle then transform fully .

It is happening because we apply two key frames in between the effect .

If we delete these two key frame , then it will fade like the normal effect just like this , it will disappear gradually .

Now again , apply those key frames and now see it will hold for a few seconds .

Now let me show you how you can create this effect by your own manually , which is very easy .

Just delete the effect from the video clips .

No .

Search for Grady and wife here is the gradient wipe , apply this transition gradient wipe in the first video .

Now , here you'll see this section .

Now here is the point .

If you want your effect from dark to bright , then leave this box without A T .

And if you want your effect transformed from bright to dark , check this box .

So first we'll create the Luma fade , bright to dark effect .

So here let's select the first video and click on the total animation and see here .

A key frame has been created .

Now go to the end of this first clip and then again , create another friend and make it 100% .

Now put 20 or 30% in the transition softness .

And now you can see the loom of it bright to dark .

If it now if you want to just reverse one like dark to bright , just uncheck this box , now see how it looks like the dark area converting then the white area .

So this is the Luma effect , dark to bright effect .
