Hi , everyone .
This is a tan .
Welcome to Turkish food recipes .
In this episode .
I have an easy 20 minutes recipe .
Easy Turkish man with yogurt and mint sauce .
You're simply gonna use pasta for this recipe with the Turkish style ground beef toppings and with the yogurt and mint sauce all together , it will be a piece of heaven .
So let's get started .
I have 300 g ground beef , one medium sized onion tomato paste or pasta which we call you can also use or macaroni .
I have olive oil and also going to use some butter , salt pepper and sweet paprika on the .
My water is heating for the pasta and on front .
I'm also heating a nice big pan for my ground beef sauce .
First , I'm going to chop my onion finely and saute it in traditional Turkish Mountain recipe .
We put only onion salt and black pepper along with the minced meat as a filling .
So in the easy version , I'm gonna do the same thing .
Only uh cook it as a sauce for top .
My water is boiling for the pasta .
It is about 2.5 liters , adding the pasta and going to cook as it is instructed in the package .
About 9 , 10 minutes .
I'm gonna drizzle some olive oil and also added some salt .
My onion has softened and begin to have a color .
I'm going to add my ground beef .
Now , here I'm using beef , but for an extra deep taste , you can also use half beef and half lamb .
I'm going to continue to saute until it is brown , checking my pasta , it's cooking on high medium heat , steering occasionally and without the list .
So back to my ground beef , I'm eating the seasonings , which is only salt , black pepper and sweet paprika .
You can also use hot if you like .
And my last ingredient , tomato paste , as you can see , I placed some empty space on the pan for my tomatoes and added a bit of olive oil and going to cook for about two minutes and then mix everything .
This way , the tomato paste will cook first and will be more tasty and delicious .
Cook it for three or four more minutes and we are almost done .
Check my pasta again .
It is cooked .
I'm going to drain it to another bowl because I'm going to use some of the pasta water for my ground beef sauce .
I'm making sure it is sturdy and poured pasta .
Right now .
My pasta base doesn't have any butter or oil .
So I'm melting some butter for it .
And meanwhile using some of the pasta water for my source just going to simmer until everything is corporated for 34 minutes and we are done .
I'm adding some olive oil again to my butter and after everything is heated and there is a nice smell coming from the butter .
I ate the pasta and give it a good stir .
In the original Turkish man .
We are using fresh garlic for the yogurt sauce , but since we don't prefer it because of the smell is the final touch .
I'm adding two cloves of chopped garlic and some more of the pasta water to my sauce .
Our yogurt sauce is very simple .
I have some homemade yogurt which I shared the recipe .
You can watch from the links .
If it is very thick , you can lightly biscuit and if you prefer , you can add fresh garlic in it .
It was a nice day in Istanbul .
The sun and clouds were playing with me back and forth and in 15 minutes , we are ready to assemble our easy Turkish style mountain first pasta base and drizzle the yogurt all over it generously .
And on top of that , our yummy delicious ground beef topping .
You can dig in right away my friends .
But there's the one last option and which is so delicious .
You cannot resist just melt a little bit of butter and add handful of dried mint saute for 30 seconds and drizzle the sauce all over the pasta since I didn't use much heat on the sauce and uh topping , I wanted to drizzle some red pepper flakes more of the source from the ground beef and we are done .
It is probably one of the easiest feast you can make in 20 minutes with simple ingredients and it really has a similar taste of Turkish man .
I hope you give it a try and let me know how it turned out with your comments and photos to share from my Facebook and Instagram account .
Thanks for watching .
