Today , I want to show you easy way to make a Turkish lentil soup for winter time .
It's really flavorful and very easy to make .
I have a pressure cooker here .
It's heating .
I'm gonna pour about uh 3 to 4 tablespoons , olive oil .
And here I just roughly chopped uh one onion here .
So today I'm gonna add again , rock the chop , 1 to 2 carrot , three cloves of garlic , three small size potatoes .
Here , it's just a one medium , let's say and then adding this .
So to this , uh I want to add some seasoning .
Ok .
First cumin about a half teaspoon , hot red pepper .
Some to make it for color a little bit .
It doesn't have to be used and lots of um dried mint about one tablespoon , let's say .
And of course , so do everything washed one and a quarter cup of uh red lentils just spreading to make it a little bit more thicker .
And for the taste , I'm adding half tablespoon flour .
Uh I really want to get a nice smell before I add the water .

I have a , a chicken stock when I boil some chicken , I prefer to get some for the freezer to use for another time .
So it's ready now .
Uh , it's really easy but you can , uh , pour the chicken stock , uh , paper cups also .
But you can use , uh , meat stock store bought is also ok .
But , uh , I prefer to make it at home .
It's better .
Here it comes and water about three more cups .
Now , I'm going to close the lid and , uh , after that team is up , I'm going to cook , uh , about , uh , 15 minutes on one .
We're done .

Everything is very soft .
Now , all the vegetables I'm just going to , uh , blend with the blender , hand blender .
Uh , it's a little bit , uh , thick for a soup .
So I'm gonna add more , uh , hot water .
The water should be hot when you add to the soup .
I want to check with the and serving spoons the thickness .
It's still thick .

So my soup is ready .
I just wanna make a quick sauce for the top .
It's , uh , butter heating .
Uh , after sizzling , I add about two tablespoon more olive oil and heat the both oils again and pour some , uh , red pepper flakes .
And after , uh , 20 more seconds , your sauce is ready for the soup .
It's a actually , uh , optional .
But I wanted to show you since I'm doing the recipe for you I usually don't do it all the time , but it really gives much more powerful flavor when you are eating your soup at the top of the sauce .
