Every time the holidays roll around .

One of my favorite things to do besides bake cookies is to make my own ornaments .

In fact , some of my creations are my favorite ornaments on the tree .

So today I thought I would show you guys how to dress up these plain clear ornaments , 10 different ways .

They're all super cute , totally original and incredibly easy .

First up , I'm gonna show you how to turn a temporary tattoo into an ornament in one step .

So when you think of temporary tattoos , the first thing that comes to mind may not exactly be Christmas , but you would be shocked at how awesome plain clear ornaments look with a temporary tattoo stuck to them .

You can use , you know , really like funny tattoos .

Like these animal portraits , you can get really pretty floral tattoos , metallic flash tattoos .

I'm going to use this cat tattoo , peel off the clear plastic and then just center it on your ornament .

Now these work fine on , you know , your more traditional round ornaments .

But if you can find these that are more flat , really easy to get the large tattoo centered up and just grab your damp sponge and a little extra water .

And then it's just like putting a tattoo on your skin , fold it to the tattoo for 30 seconds .

Once you feel like your tattoo is nice and here peel off the vacuum paper and then grab your sponge again and gently go over it one more time .

And that's it .

It's literally like two steps to get a super cute ornament up next .

I thought I would do a little Kate Spade inspired ornament because who doesn't love her graphic yet colorful style .

So for this one , you want a medium sized round ornament and we're going to pop the top right off next , grab some white paint .

You want something with kind of a liquidy consistency .

So just pour your paint right into the ornament and now swirl it around right .

Once you have the inside pretty well coated , you're gonna want to set it aside to dry .

So once it's dried completely , pop the top back on and now we're going to add some colorful tissue paper .

I chose a palette of black , hot pink and gold polka dot So grab some maud pod or any day coup glue and brush a thin coat on one section of your ornament , tear off a piece of our tissue paper and stick it on .

So just repeat with all your colors and now go over the whole thing with a thin coat of the mod patch .

Just kind of making sure you press down any tissue that's sticking up .

We're gonna set this aside and let it dry completely .

It'll take about an hour .

Alright .

Our mod patch has had time to dry .

So our last step for our case speed inspired ornament is to add some black and white ribbon at the top and there you go .

I'm gonna say for a few pieces of tissue paper and some ribbon .

This is a pretty cute ornament .

Next up , we're hitting up the kitchen cabinets for this ornament .

We're gonna use some sprinkles , a funnel and a little spray adhesive to make an ornament that looks good enough to eat .

Pop the top off , take your spray adhesive and spray just a little bit down inside the ornament .

Next , put your funnel in place , grab those sprinkles and just pour some in .

The great thing about using the spray adhesive is you're not having to fill the entire ornament with sprinkles , which can be wasteful .

Try to cover the top when you shake it or that will happen .

Alright , so give your sprinkles a shake until they coat the inside , set that aside to dry and then we're gonna pop the top back on and that's all there is to it .

It's super colorful , really fun , kind of delicious .

But that's just three ornaments .

I've got seven more to show you enough to decorate a whole treat .

Use the technique we used for the Sprinkle ornament to make a sparkly confetti filled ornament .

You can fill an ornament with colorful feathers , cut the top off of a balloon and stretch it around the bottom of the ornament paint .

The inside of an ornament brush with mod podge and dip in crushed gold leaf paint , an ornament with chalkboard paint and then add a festive saying you can also tie a small bundle of lavender and place it with inside an ornament .

Take fake snow , some mini bottle brush trees and an adorable tiny vintage car to make a snow globe ornament .

Well , guys , what do you say ?
