How To Paint Bathroom Tiles - Bunnings Warehouse

I'm ash and I'll be showing you how to paint wall tiles .

If your tiles are outdated and wrapped , here's a way to modernize them and make them look fab .

If your tiles are in a good condition , you don't need to replace it .

You can just paint them for a fresh and new look with this project .

You'll need a paint tray , paint roller masking tape , a primer tile , paint , a molecular sugar soap , sanding paper , sanding block , scrubbing brushes , clean cloth , dust mask , gloves , paint brush and a paint mixer .

The first thing you need to do is give your tiles a really good clean , use a bucket , some water and some sugar soap and scrub the tiles .

You can also use sugar soap bits if you like take a toothbrush to clean your grout lines .

If you have mold in your grout lines , make sure you use a mold killer to kill all the mold pores .

Give your tiles a quick dry before you start the sand .

Now that the tiles are clean , give it a light sand so that the primer sticks well to the wall , put your dust mask on so that you don't breathe in any of the tile dust .

I have sanded the tiles and now I'm just gonna rinse off all the dust .

I have scrubbed .

I have sanded and I've rinsed the tiles .

But I'm gonna repeat the process because we want these tiles to be squeaky clean before we start to prime .

I'm gonna tape the areas that I don't want the paint to go in .

Like the bench top and the window seats .

I have cleaned and I've taped off and now it's time to prime .

I'm gonna use the Delux renovation .

Dr primer .

Add this additive to the primer and stir it for 2 to 5 minutes .

It says it is a plastic laminate primer , but it is a universal one and it can be used on all tiles .

Use your brain brush to cut in around the edges and along the grout lines .

I have let the primer dry for four hours and now it's time to apply my top coat .

Add your additive to the paint and stir for 2 to 5 minutes .

You can tint your paint any color from the deluxe range on .

Going with whisper white , use your paintbrush to cut along the edges and along the ground lines , use your roller to go over the area with long even strikes the bathroom already looks better .

I'm gonna let the first code dry for eight hours and then apply the second code .

My bathroom was old and dated but now it's modern and fresh ready for me to style .

I'll just add a mirror and some styling items and this bathroom is gonna look incredible .
