Hi guys .
Thank you so much for tuning back into my channel .
I'm so sorry for the long hiatus , but I have good reason and I promise I have good content first .
I have been growing all my undercut .
Um I'm , I'm gonna insert a video when I talked about this , but I've been growing it out since basically around April May .
And it's been a little hard to style my hair because I really like to do updos .
But then the , the up was looking a little funky , you know , when I had the Yeah .
So , and I just like , I really didn't have much styles to show and like my routine really hasn't changed anyways .
And so I was , I was just trying to figure out ways to like , you know , style my hair while still growing up undercut and not be tempted to cut it off because after a while I was like , I mean , I could cut it again and , you know , you know , ok , let me just not touch this , let me just leave it where it is .
Ok .
So yesterday I finally reattached the locks and I filmed everything for you .
So I'm gonna show you guys exactly how I did it .
But before I get into the video , um there's gonna be two of them .
I think they're gonna be two of them because I reattached to my scalp from the undercut and I also reattached to the end .
So you can see I have a little bit of a length going out here .
Yeah , I didn't grow overnight but you know , I'm gonna tell you what I , what I did .
So basically I used this crochet needle .
This is the 0.6 millimeter needle and you're gonna see a little bit more in the video .
But let me see if it focuses .
Oh , there we go .
OK .
You can see it has a little hook right there and it's 0.6 millimeters , this little thing , you know , I almost didn't buy it because I was like , this is so small like how is it in gonna fit ?
Like is it even gonna , I thought it was gonna break , you know , but it's pretty solid and it did not break , but it did poke all my fingers and I have like so many scabs and stuff from , from using this to like , you know , really touch the locks .
But that was basically what I use the whole time .
One thing to notice is you , you don't necessarily have to grow your hair to be too much in order to reattach locks or reattach lock extensions if you wanted to .
Ok .
But I grew mine since April .
So April May June July August September October November eight whole months .
I grew it out and it was so annoying because there was like nothing I could do with it .
Um But I grew it out and it was , it was , I think a good length and I decided to braid mine first and then have a little bit of the hair left over and then reattach that end of the hair that's on my scalp to the lock that I had cut off from that part like basically a year and a half ago .
At this point .
I hope all of this makes sense .
If not check out my lock extension video , you're gonna see .
There is like three different hair colors in that video .
The blonde one which is the one I attached to the front , the red one , which is the original one from the back and then there are two brown ones that I just forgot existed , but that's the original color before I started to like bleach my hair .
Basically , I hope you guys enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my next video .
This is the result of all of that good stuff and yeah , I hope you guys enjoy and leave me comments down below if you've used this crochet needle because this right here , I'm never throwing this away .
Well , I don't have any more hair to attach anymore .
But I'm still gonna keep it for like anything because you know what , even if let's say you have like new locks and they're buddy and the phrase is out of control and you're just like , I with the frizz , you can actually take this and go in and like pull in all the frizzy hair inside the lock because you know , sometimes when you want to control frizz people tell you to like , roll the hair like this or like it out all of the frizzes .
But that only is gonna last until you wash the hair and once you wash the hair , it's gonna come out again .
So if you're really like concerned about Frizz , just get the crochet needle and then just go through the whole lock and just like pull in all of those um loose hairs inside the lock and then you can have like one smooth lock and like , I think that would really , really help .
Um And also for people , let's say your hair is not locking fast enough and you're like , oh I have slippage and da da da this girl , this is gonna save your life because if you have some parts of your lock that are kind of like softer or like haven't locked or loose , you can use this to go in and also do the same thing and like crochet it in , in this like instant lock .
And so , yeah .
Um and also the same thing if you don't want to go through like all the phases of like like stutter locks , baby locks and all this other stuff .
And you have like , you know , a full head of hair , you can start yourself locks with this .
Honestly , just do your grid pattern , go through each and then just , just do it .
And honestly , you're gonna get locks because you're gonna see in the video like it's so great because it like combines all your hair strands together .
And so once it does that , like , I mean , that's what locks are , right ?
It's like everything combines , but this just does it really quickly instead of you having to go through all the motions .
Um So yeah , that is all for the combination of the lock .
