How to Draw a Dolphin Easy 🐬Emoji

Hi , Cutie .

We here today , we're gonna draw the dolphin emoji .

So let's get started to draw this cute dolphin .

Let's start by drawing its eye .

So I'm gonna come right here and draw a big circle and then I'm gonna come to the edge right here and just give it a little curve right there .

Just a tiny little curve and I'll come back right here and give it a highlight .

And then when I shade this in , I'm not gonna go all the way to the bottom .

I'm just gonna give myself a little bit of space at the bottom .

So I'll just draw the curve right here , just like a draw , so cute eye and then shade the top part in .

And the reason I'm doing that is because I want to be able to give it some color at the bottom .

So right here , I'll come back in later to finish that up with some markers and colored pencils .

But let's continue and draw the dolphin .

So now that we have this eye in right here , let's come to the side .

So let's come to the bottom of your eye .

I'm gonna come right out .

Uh I'll say about right here , this much space and then from there is where I'm gonna start the top of the head .

So I'm gonna go up and I'll stop there for now .

I wanna come down here and draw the beak , the mouth area .

So let's come right here and this is gonna come out right there and we're going to bring right here .

We're gonna um sharpen this curve a little bit , a little curve at the tip .

And I'm gonna bring this right underneath the center of the eye .

So let's bring this to about right here .

So kind of like the center of the eye from there .

Let's come right about here in this area , this corner and I'm going to draw a soft curve that comes down underneath the eye and I'm going to come up right there .

So it's just a soft curve that comes underneath , stand up and then let's come in here and we're going to draw a smile for our dolphin .

Let's come up right here , bring up more and then cap it off .

They are starting to come together right .

OK .

So then from there , we can continue this curve down right there and then let's bring this up .

So this part right here is gonna go nice and high .

So it's a little bit straighter here and then we're gonna go up about right .

They're over the eye nice and high .

So you're just creating this nice big curve over the , for the dolphin's head , but you just wanna make sure this angles out a little bit more and then goes up to create that big forehead there .

So then from there , um because I'm using a sharpie , I'm going to stop about right here and I'm going to draw one flipper .

So it's come about right here and I'm gonna drop her , go right here , bring it out , put this area and then we're gonna soften it , come down , then connect to a soft curve there and then we're gonna be able to continue this curve .

Let's come down for the body .

Let's bring this down .

So we're starting to connect everything .

We're going to bring this big curve down .

So we're just kind of following following and let's keep going .

So about right here .

We're gonna start to curve a little bit more and same thing here .

So we're gonna get a little bit thinner now as we come down .

All right there .

Um Let's bring this in to the right here .

So let's bring this down are a human little curve and get thinner and connect .

They are so creating this big curve for the dolphins .

So that's why you wanted to make sure this part is nice and hi for the head .

OK .

So then from there , let's uh since we're here , let's draw the tail .

So come right here , pop out this tail up , round off the tip a little bit , bring it down then same thing here and round off the tip and then we can continue this curve right here .

Try to bring it up a little bit more now that I'm looking at it .

So then from there , I'm just , I imagine it coming through .

Not about right here .

I'm going to curve and taper it in .

There are so definitely step back and take a look and see where you need to adjust because it is a very tricky shape , right ?

OK .

So then from there , let's draw the top in right here .

So say about right here , I'll go ahead and drop a big curve that comes downwards and then right here , round out the tip , bring it down and um and so now to finish um to finish the eye and I'm just gonna go ahead and fix this real quick .

So you can see it a little bit better , just erase this with my win out pen .

So , like I said , this dolphins are a little bit tricky to draw .

So definitely step back and take a look at your shape and adjust however you need to .

OK .

So then now to uh for the eye .

So right here , I'm just gonna go ahead and use your basic uh marker right here to put in some blue right there and then to blend it in better .

I'm just gonna come in here with a blue color pencil and I'm just gonna darken this part up right here .

Where it meets the black and try to put in some blue .

So I'm gonna push down really hard right here to try to blend the black into the blue a little bit better .

But leaving the bottom part right here is still the lightest there .

So it blends in a little bit more and just gives it that nice blue shine there .

So hopefully that helps .

And I put a little curve right here over the eye and that is pretty much it for this uh dolphin emoji .

I really hope I helped you draw this even though it's a very tricky shape and that um you love how it turned out .

Oh , you know what ?

Oh my gosh .

I just totally forgot the other flipper .

You guys are probably like yelling at me .

So right here , I need to come right here .

Oh goodness .

A flipper missing AAA dolphin missing a , a flipper .

Is it right here ?

Ok .
