Fix Microsoft Store Missing _ Greyed Out In Windows 10 - Reinstall Microsoft Store

And in the last video you have seen that how you can fix if the Microsoft Store is not working or not opening .

But in the studio , you will see how you can fix if the Microsoft store is missing or grayed out in your windows .

As you can see that I am searching for Microsoft Store but it is not available on my Windows 10 .

Even if I go to app , then look for Microsoft Store , then it is not available anywhere .

So in this video , I will show you how you can get back Microsoft restore on Windows 10 .

So the first thing you can do is reinstall Microsoft Store using Power cell .

Go to start and search for power cell , right ?

Click on it and run as administrator .

Click on the option now , you need to copy and paste certain commands from video description in the power cell .

So the first command is to uninstall Microsoft restore completely .

If there are some traces or there are some file of apex packet , then you can remove it .

This command will uninstall the Microsoft restorer from your windows 10 .

So execute this command before you can reinstall it again .

Now you need to copy and paste another command which is to reinstall the Microsoft store then hit enter copy and paste to parcel , then hit enter on your keyboard and it should reinstall Microsoft store on your Windows 10 .

And after that , you may have to restart your Windows 10 and check if you are getting Microsoft to store or not and if there is no current file on your Windows 10 , then you should be able to reinstall Microsoft rest store .

Using this way you can exit out the power cell .

But if you get any trouble while executing this command or the commands are not working , then you may have to enable the apex deployment service from the Windows registry for that .

Go to start and search for red , edit and open the registry editor .

Now you need to navigate through following registry key , go to tch key , local machine then system then current control set , then go to services .

And here you have to look for a folder apex as we see .

So we scroll down and find a pa as we see a registry key and click on it .

Now on the right pan , you have to double click on this start registry key and change the value data from three or anything else to two , change the value to number two , then hit OK , restart your windows 10 and execute those power cell commands again .

And this will help you to reinstall Microsoft store .

If the power cell commands were not working .

Now , if this method doesn't work by any chance , then follow the next method for this method , you have to access a browser and go to this link .

The link is provided in the description .

This is a link to download some uh parcel command from Microsoft website .

So download this file and go to your download folder .

Now you have to extract this file right , click on it and click on extract all .

Now you will get a file , parcel file inside that folder that is reinstall , preinstalled apps .

This command is going to reinstall all the prebuilt apps on your windows 10 .

But before executing this file , search for power and open it as admin .

Now you need to type or you can copy and paste from video description , set , uh set execution policy , unrestricted , then hit enter , then type a .

So you can allow that script to run on your Windows 10 .

And after that exit out this power cell , now you can right click on this file and then click on run with power cell and it is going to take some time to execute all those power sari .

So let it run and it will reinstall all the prebuilt apps along with Microsoft restore on your Windows 10 .

Once it is done , you can restart your Windows 10 and check if you are getting Microsoft restore or not in the most cases , this method should work .

And I tried to install the Microsoft store and reinstall using this way .

And I can see that this method is also working .

Now , there may be another problem like if you right click on this file , then you won't get run with power cell option .

In this case , you can select the file , then go to this file option on the top , then open powershell admin and it will open the power cell inside that folder .

So you just have to execute that power cell script using this command .

This command is also given in the video description , copy and paste it here , then hit enter and this command will only reinstall Microsoft store , not all the apps .

So you can also run this script using this way .

Now if there are some corrupt file on your windows 10 , then this method may not work .

Also , in this case , you have to repair your windows 10 using dim tools , go to start and search for command prompt , right ?

Click on it and run as admin .

Click on the option .

Now you have to execute certain commands .

So the first command is dism then space forward slash online , then space forward slash cleanup iphone image , then space forward less check health one word , then hit enter on your keyboard and it will check the health of windows 10 image available on your windows , 10 PC .

So there is an image file inside windows 10 which we can use to repair the windows 10 .

This command will check the health of that image .

And if you see this message , no component is stored corruption detected , then you can exit out C MD and run the EPY tool .

But if you get any error here , then you have to execute this command dism online cleanup image , then scan health and make sure you are connected to the internet since dis MS deployment image servicing management tool which you download the image file directly from Microsoft server .

So you must have internet connection and it is going to take some time .

Once it is done , you may or may not get corrupt component detection message but still you have to execute third command , which is the ISM online cleanup image , then restore health .

So you need to type this command and hit enter on your keyboard and this command is also going to take some time and it may take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete all these commands .

Once it is done , you will get a success message on the C MD .

Now you can exit out the C MD and restart your Windows 10 because we are going to run a sepsis can command .

So if you try to run the EPY command right now , that is accepted , then it space forward slash scan .

Now , then it is asking me to restart Windows 10 .

So most probably you will get an option to update and restart your Windows 10 .

So if you get this option , then you have to update your Windows 10 , restart it and let it update .

Then open the C MD as admin and now you need to run the SFC command type S EPY , then space forward , forward scan now then hit , enter on your keyboard .

And it is also going to take some time and it will try to find any corrupt file on your Windows 10 and it will repair it using the SFC tools .

So let it run .

And if it found any kind of integrity violation on your windows 10 , then it will show you the error and it will try to repair it .

And I am not getting any integrity violation since it is a new virtual machine , but you should run this command .

And once it is done , you need to exit out command prompt , restart your windows 10 and try to execute all those power cell commands which you tried in 1st and 2nd method .

So the dism tool will only fix the corrupt image file on your windows 10 .

Then epy scan will fix the windows 10 corruption issue .

Then you can try to execute power cell commands to get Microsoft Store back on your windows 10 .
