How To Draw A Baseball Hat

What kind of hat are we gonna draw a baseball hat ?

You ready to draw ?

What do our , our friends and , and , and something to color with color with ?

All right , let's get started .

Let's first start by drawing the top of our hat and we're gonna draw a big rainbow light .

We're gonna come up like this around and back down big rainbow line .

Yeah .

And back down .

Good job .

Now we're gonna draw a curve line to connect the bottom .

So we're gonna come up like this and then back down , see how it's curved .

Maybe a little more over here on the left side and then straight there you go .

You did it .

Now we're gonna draw the bill sticking out of the front .

That's this part that blocks the sun when it's too bright outside .

So we're gonna start right here and we're gonna draw a diagonal line that comes out right here on the Yes , on the left side that comes out .

Good job .

Now we're gonna start right here and we're gonna draw a big s line .

We're gonna draw a curve , it curves down like this and then we're gonna curve back into the hat .

See how it's an S curve .

We're gonna go up a little bit back down and then into the hat , we're drawing it 3d .

We're drawing it kind of off to the side .

Yeah , that is the coolest Bill ever .

And I love that .

Our drawings are different and that's OK .

Right .

Because both look awesome .

And the most important thing is to Yeah , to have fun and to practice .

All right , we still need to finish the rest of the bill .

We're gonna draw a little curve right here .

We're gonna curve down like this and then we're gonna curve back up .

So we're gonna start right here and curve back into the hat .

Now , this is the underside of the bill .

Now , let's draw some extra details on our hat .

First , there's a little button on the top right here .

We're gonna draw a small rainbow line right on top , little button or a big button .

Now , we're , now we're gonna draw uh there's seams or little uh lines that go down the hat .

So we're gonna draw one right down the middle .

So it's like this curve that matches the front of your hat .

Yeah .

Good job .

And then we're gonna draw another one on the right side .

So we're gonna start right here and curve down like this and it matches the right side .

Perfect .

Now , there's also little holes in a baseball hat .

So we're gonna draw a little hole right here .

Another one over here .

And if you want , you can also add another one just right on the end .

Teeny little holes .

There you go .

Another one over there .

Yeah .

And another one on the other side .

Now we're gonna add some more lines to the front of our bill .

I'm gonna add a line that matches that first s line that we drew .

Look at that , I drew it right next to it .

Just match that same line .

All right , dude , you did it .

OK ?

Now we're gonna add a stitched line .

So we're gonna start right here and we're gonna match that same line , but I'm gonna draw dash lines right next to it .

This one's a little tricky .

So if it's too tricky , you can leave this one off if you want .

But I think you should try , try to draw a dash line that matches .

Yes , keep going .

And we're gonna go all the way over here .

You did a great job on your dashed stitch line and now we still need to do one last thing .

What is it coloring ?

Yeah , we need to color it this part .

We're gonna fast forward , but at the end , you guys can pause it to match the same color .

We colored our the same but I also added shading .

I used blue , dark blue and gray to add the shading and also a highlight .

I used white colored pencil for the highlight .

This makes it look more 3d , but you can leave it off to keep the less a little easier and we'll see you later .
