Hi , Jess Katie is Wendy here today .
I'm so happy to be able to draw this cute little Yes , squish , mellow for you .
This is still a mellow look .
I can still squish it .
It's so cute right in the colors .
And I didn't realize they make keychains now like super cute and you can hang this on your backpack wherever you want .
Right ?
So when I saw it , I had to have it because I love this color .
It's just like the dinosaur one .
I love the green on it .
And um when I first saw it , I thought it was an avocado .
I had no idea what , what it actually was .
So it actually belongs to the Sea Life squad um because it's a turtle .
Look at this .
Super cute , right ?
It's actually a little turtle .
And so um today's drawing is just my version of uh a little drawer , cute turtle because if I drew it like this , it wouldn't really look like a turtle , right ?
So hopefully you guys will love it .
So get your sharpie or your pencil and your piece of paper ready and let's get started to draw this turtle .
We're gonna first start by drawing its head .
So I'm gonna come right here and just drop a big curve for the top of the head .
So it's basically um aiming to draw like the dumpling shape I give to all my drawer kit characters .
It's a little bit narrow at the top and we're gonna start to widen it as we come down on both sides .
And I'm just gonna start to bring it around and go ahead and connect the chart to the bottom .
So it's gonna be a little bit flatter at the bottom .
So I'm not gonna close it all the way off .
I'm gonna aim towards the center .
So about right there , there's a little neck I want to add in there .
It's about right there .
Just open a little opening that I'm gonna leave and then from there , let's uh since we're here , let's go ahead and connect it .
I'm just gonna connect it with a curve right in the center .
OK .
So from there , let's bring this turtle to life .
So I'm gonna come where the widest part is on this um dumpling shape head and I'm gonna draw a circle for the eyes .
So towards the edge at the widest area .
So same thing on the other side about right here towards the edge , just draw another circle and I'm gonna make these uh ice just cut ice .
So come in here , we have two small circles for highlights and the curve line at the bottom and shade in the top and lines at the bottom and same thing over here .
OK .
So we have the eyes and let's come above the eye .
I'm just gonna draw a slight little small , little curve above each eye and in between the eyes are right here .
I just sweet little smile .
So just a little curve and cap it off there .
So sweet , right ?
OK .
So now to draw the body , I'm gonna come right here where I just started this curve , let's come over a little bit , let's say about right here on both sides .
And I'm just gonna add a curve .
So we're basically going to draw another circle , oval shape underneath this .
So come right here , we start off with one curve and I'm gonna stop about right there because I have these hands , I'm gonna draw .
So , but if you're using a pencil , just go ahead and finish the curve , but I'm gonna stop right here and aiming towards the center , I'm gonna come right here and drop curve , not gonna get pass the center .
So about right here .
Stop and curve it out for the hands .
So when I come back where I started and connected , so I'm gonna do the same thing over here .
So once again , curve towards the center about right there , curve it out and let's what come back right here , pop it out a little bit and connected and I'm gonna come in here with three little curves for some details there .
So I'm gonna continue this curve now .
It's gonna go through the hand .
So about right here , it's gonna pop back out .
So same thing over here , it's gonna pop out and we're gonna aim towards the bottom now .
So we're gonna start to bring it in and let's see here .
So once again , if you're using a pencil , just go ahead and connect this curve , but I'm going to stop about right there and draw a big oval for the feet .
All right here , I'm gonna pop out big oval for the food right here .
So same thing over here .
So I'm just gonna make sure I'm about the same level on the other side .
And once again , straw big oval there and then let's come in here once again for some details and pop out three curves and we're gonna finish this curve , we're gonna connect it .
So a little curve in between the feet now to draw the outer shell right here .
So I'm gonna come out about right here and basically just follow this curve .
So I'm gonna come out gonna go all the way down there .
So same thing over here .
So just try your best to make it about the same width as the other side and follow your curve all the way around there .
OK .
So now um to add some details , I'm gonna come on um in here , I'm just gonna add some lines lightly .
So these lines are basically aiming towards the center .
So maybe another one here here and then here .
So same thing on the other side just to give Rochelle some decoration .
Uh And then in the center , if you like , I'm gonna add a heart right here , it's all up to you .
So I'm gonna come to the center about right here .
If you want , just add a heart , it could either be just a shell pattern or it could be .
Um literally , this turtle is holding a heart .
So it's all up to you when you tolerate , you got a heart right there .
And now I'm gonna add some details , come straight down the center , the line and let's add some curves to give our show some details and some dimension .
So it doesn't look too flat .
So I'm gonna come in here and just draw some curves .
So there .
I hope you love my drawing of a turtle inspired by this cute little squish mellow turtle .
