How to Install Apps Without Apple ID Password iOS 15 - iPhone & iPad

Welcome to another gauging gadgets , iphone tutorial video .

In this video , I'm gonna show you how to install apps without your Apple ID password .

So if you're trying to download apps from the app store to your iphone without your password in this video , I'll show you how to do that on I OS 15 .

All right .

So as you can see here , if I open up the app store and I try to download an app , then I select , install , it's going to prompt me to enter my Apple ID password .

Now , if I want to stop that from happening where I don't need to enter my Apple ID password in order to install an application , the first thing I need to do is open up the settings on my iphone .

Now that we have the settings open , we'll need to make two changes in order to turn off the required password to install apps .

So first we need to do is select the first option .

It should have our name .

And it also says apple ID , go ahead and select that once you're in Apple ID , go ahead and select media and purchases .

And then we want to select password settings as you can see in here at the bottom , it says free downloads and then it says require password , go ahead and toggle it off and then select done .

Now , we can select back in the top left to go back to the main screen of the settings .

Now to make our second change in the settings to ensure we can install apps without our apple ID password .

What we need to do , scroll down on the settings , go to screen time .

If you don't already have screen time turned on , go ahead and turn it on .

Select , continue right here .

I just select , this is my iphone .

Give it a second to load once screen time loads scroll down and the last item should be content and privacy restrictions .

Select that if it's not already turned on , turn on content and privacy restrictions at the top and then select itunes and app store purchases .

So in here , what we want to do is just make sure that at the bottom it says require password , we just want to make sure that it says don't require so have , don't require selected .

Now , we can back out .

You can go ahead and turn all of this off if you want to .

If you don't use screen time , once I get back to screen time , I usually go to the bottom and select , turn off screen time because I do not use it .

Confirm I turned it off now .

We can go back to our home screen on our iphone and when we open up the app store and try to download and install an app , you can see that it no longer requires a password to install that app .
