Rubik's Cube Pattern-Checker Board (EASY Tutorial)

Hey , everybody .

I'm here today to show you how to get the checkerboard pattern on a Rubik's cube .

It's a very simple process and I will be outlining the steps with some easy to follow instructions .

Let's get right to it .

As you can see .

I am starting off with a solved Rubik's cube just as you can see right here .

So you're gonna start with one of the uh faces facing you , then you're gonna take the right side and you're gonna turn it twice , once , twice and then take the left side and turn it twice , once , twice .

Now , as you can see right here , if we look at all of these sides , there are some line patterns .

So now you're gonna turn the cube to the side so that you're looking at a solid face , OK ?

Then you're gonna take the right side and turn it twice , once , twice and then the left side and turn it twice , once , twice , just like that .

Now , if you look at these sides right here , you can see that there is a checkerboard pattern right here .

OK ?

And then there are lines on these sides right here .

So you're gonna take any of these sides that have these lines and make sure that the lines are now going horizontally .

So we're not going to turn it like this .

We're , we're holding it like this .

So the lines are going horizontally and then you're gonna turn this side twice , the right side twice , once , twice , and then the left side twice , once , twice .

And it's literally that simple as you can see , I have now achieved the awesome looking checkerboard pattern on the Rubik's cube .

It looks awesome and it was really easy to do .

It's very , very simple .

The most important thing is that you have to start off with a solved Rubik's cube .

That's how um you get to this pattern .

You start off with a solved a solved Rubik's cube and then you just follow the steps that I've outlined in this video , which is basically turning the right side twice and the left side twice in various positions of the cube while holding the cube um with certain patterns facing you .

That's it .

It's a very simple process .
