How to Draw Toad 🍄Super Mario

Hi Dresser , Katie Sweney here today , we're gonna draw Tode from Super Mario .

So let's get started to draw this cute character .

That's where drawing his eyes .

So I'm gonna come right here and draw a big oval and I'm gonna come right across the right here and draw another oval .

And I'll come in here on the sides right here on the top , draw a circle for a highlight and shade everything else .

It's the same thing over here .

Now that we've drawn the eyes , it's come to the bottom right here in the center and I'm going to draw a big smile .

So it's just a big curve right underneath and cap it off .

Then I'll come above each eye and just draw a soft curve right over each eye , nice and soft .

And then I'm gonna start to draw the face .

So I'm gonna come to the top of this eye , come out , say about this much right here , that same thing on the other side .

So about right here and I'm going to start to draw a curve that comes right underneath .

So come around and , and the same thing over here around and connect at the bottom .

So I just want this nice round curve there .

OK .

So then from there , we're gonna come to the top uh and draw this curve right over the brow .

So come out right here , right over my brow is my center and I'm gonna start to bring it down right to the other side there .

Now we can go ahead and draw the big mushroom .

So right here , I'm gonna give myself a point to come right across right here as well .

And let's bring this up .

So bring up a curve .

Uh But right here , I'll start to go up .

So the same thing over here .

Yeah , but curves and start to go up and then let's bring this up .

Nice and big .

So I'm gonna aim for my center .

So say about right here , just give myself a point .

So I know where I'm going and now that I'm here , I can start to come down and bring it right back to this .

They're nice and big , right ?

OK .

So then from there , I'm gonna come to the center and draw a big circle .

So let's see here I go right here .

Let's draw this big circle , big wobbly circle , I in the center and then another one on the sides right here .

So I was just gonna see part of it curve and same thing here .

So I'll just drag this point across and this point .

So we have approximate size and bring it in we're done with the mushroom head .

OK .

So then let's draw the body .

I'm gonna come , let's see here .

Let's come about right here .

Gonna simplify this little body right here .

So nice and center , but right there .

And I'm going to basically just bring in a curve , then I'll connect it at the bottom .

All right here .

So it definitely looks like a mushroom now .

Right now .

Let's come back over here .

I'm gonna put in the little jacket .

So come in here and I'm gonna draw a curve that comes out and about right here , I'll bring in a curve .

So if you like it , pop this out and then just bring this out a little bit , I just wanna show you an easier way to dry it and then for some detail come in here .

And so the same thing over here , the same area come out with a curve , pop it out , then connect and the details there and then from there , let's go ahead and come out in this area and we're gonna draw a curve for the pants and then the feet .

So right here , nice and centered about in this area and here you're gonna draw a curve and come out right here with a nice big curve and connect all the way back up .

So same thing on the other side , but right here and connect there and then the hands .

So I'm gonna bring them to the side .

All right there oops , too curved .

And I'm right here with a thumb and then we're just gonna simplify it .

We're just gonna round this off and to tuck it in .

It's the same thing over here about this area right here and then round it off and tuck it in .

Yeah .

Ok .

And I'll come in here real quick with my , uh , white out pen just to wipe this part out .

So , if you're more comfortable , you can just bring this out first and then bring it in .

But I just wanted to show your easier way you're using a pencil .

Definitely just to erase this so that the jacket pops out and that is pretty much it .

I really hope you love how uh oh and I almost forgot .

Oh goodness , let's come right here and I'm gonna add , well , it's out of the heart right here .

So now it's my toad from uh Super Mario .
