Hi guys .
Welcome back .
I'm Cubing and back with another video .
In the last video I talked about beginner , Oll and how to do it .
Beginner .
Oll is OLL with only two algorithms today .
I'm gonna be teaching you how to do beginner PLL which is PLL with only two algorithms .
PLL stands for permutate last layer , permutating .
The last layer is when when you solve OLL , then you do an algorithm to solve the rest of the cube .
Now there are 21 different things that could come up .
But I'm only gonna be teaching you two algorithms to solve every single one of the cases .
So although it is only two algorithms , there's a much better way to solve it and it's called two of PLL .
Two of PLL requires you to memorize six algorithms with beginner PLL , you're gonna be having to do the same algorithms multiple times .
But with two look PLL , you'll only have to do a maximum of two algorithms before it is solved .
So this can just be a foundation while you learn to look OLL and then you can learn to look PLL .
All right .
So let's learn how to do beginner PLL .
So the first thing you're gonna wanna do is make the two colors over here the same , these two the same , these two the same and these two the same , most likely you'll have two the same and everything else .
Not .
It's also possible though to have all of the sides already , the same color or none of them would be the same color .
If they're all the same color , then you have already done the step .
If they're all not the same color , then you can just hold it from wherever you want .
And if there are two that are the same and everything else is not , or one side , then you're gonna hold those two .
So they're pointing to the left and you're gonna do an algorithm known as T perm .
This algorithm goes like this , I'll put it up here like that .
If you put the two headlights , they're called onto the left and you did that algorithm , they should now all be the same .
But if they were all not the same and you do that T perm , then you should get a case where there are two that are the same and everything else is not .
And in that case , you're just gonna put that on the left and you're gonna do the T perm , then you should have all of these being the same .
Now , that's the first algorithm , but there is one more , this one is called U perm .
And what it does is it switches these three pieces , there is two U perms .
U A perm and UB perm and they all switch them in a different rotation .
The U A perm moves this one over here , this one over here and this one over here and the UB perm goes the other direction .
We're gonna be learning U A perm and you don't need to know that that's the name .
It doesn't really matter .
But basically what you're gonna do is you're going to see if you have a solid bar that is all solved .
And if you do , you're gonna put it into the back and you're gonna do this algorithm , you're gonna move the side up , move it over , move it up again , move it over that direction , move it up , move it over that direction again , move it up again and move it the opposite direction , then bring it down , move it over and then twice .
Now it's possible that when you're done , it's still not solved .
And in that case , you can just do it again and then it should be solved .
Although you may have a case where there is no solid bar at all .
And in that case , you can just hold it from anywhere you do the algorithm and then you should have a solid bar which you can put in the back .
And with that , you should be able to do beginner PLL .
This was kind of a shorter video , but thank you for watching .
And if it helped you at all , give this video a like and to support me , please remember to subscribe .
Thanks and I'll see you in the next video .
