Hey there today , I'm gonna show you how to draw a very simple cartoon owl .
So let's start with the eyes .
So on the left side , we're just gonna draw a small little circle on the top left corner , we're gonna draw an even smaller circle for the highlight .
And then we're gonna a color in the bottom side here , black .
OK ?
Now let's move over to the right side and do the exact same thing .
So here we're gonna start at the top and draw a circle and then we're gonna draw that little highlight on the top left corner .
So a little circle up on top and then we're gonna cover the bottom part in black .
Now , from here , let's get into the beak .
So in the middle , we're gonna move down and just draw a curve from left to right and then we're gonna come down towards the middle point .
So we're gonna find the middle , come down and draw a little point from the left corner .
Here , we're gonna draw a straight line to that point and then from the right , we'll draw a straight line .
Now around the eyes , we're gonna draw these big ovals So just above the eyes in the middle , we're gonna draw a little point from here .
I want to draw this big oval that comes all the way to the side of the beak here .
So starting in the middle and go around , come around the bottom and then right into the side of the beak legs .
So let's go to the right side and do the exact same thing .
So as I'm doing this oval , I wanna make sure that I go to the same height as on the left .
And when I come down to the same height on the bottom here , so we're gonna start on the middle , go all the way around and come back in towards the middle there .
Now let's get up to the top of the head and draw the horns .
So it's basically a curve that goes just above these eyes .
And I wanna put my finger where I want to start and my finger where I wanna end .
So I'm gonna start here , I'm gonna draw a curve that comes down above the eyes and back to the top on the right side .
From here , I'm gonna curve in towards the eyes on either side .
So from here it's curve down towards the eyes leaving a little gap .
Let's go to the right side and draw the same curve going right in .
Now , from here , I'm gonna draw the cheeks down towards the chin with one even curve .
So from here I'm gonna go around the eyes come in and stop right about there .
Let's go to the right side .
I'm gonna stop , I'm gonna put my finger where I want to stop the curb around the eyes and back up on underneath the eyes there .
Now let's draw the body and the body is essentially just an oval that connects the chins .
So I'll put my finger right in the bottom over here on the left side , I'm gonna start the body .
So coming around towards my finger and back up on the right side just underneath the eyes .
Now , let's draw some body detail .
So I'm gonna draw a reverse or also curve the top part of the curve just in the middle here , starting on left and going to the right side , I'm gonna draw some feathers on the belly .
So here we're gonna do a series of curves .
So on the left side , I'm gonna go one , two , three and below it , we're gonna do a row of four .
So we're gonna go one , two , 34 and then at the bottom , we'll just do 212 .
Let's draw on some wings .
So from where the chin meets the body , I put my pin here and come down to the bottom of the hips right over here .
So I'm just gonna draw a curve that goes out and then tuck in behind the body there .
Let's draw the same thing on the right side coming out on the right and then tucking in just below here , let's draw some feet .
So we're gonna leave a gap in the middle right over here on the left , we're gonna curve down from this point .
We're gonna curve up and tuck this underneath the body .
From this point .
We're gonna go in , draw one more toe there and then up here , we're just gonna curve out like that , draw the same thing on the right .
So here we're gonna curve down .
I'm gonna tuck this underneath the body .
Do an overlap , come in on top and then one final one here just like .
So if you want , we can draw some eyebrows .
So here I'm just gonna draw a curve just over this eye and then make it thick in the middle and then come back down on the side .
Let's try it again one more time .
So coming down on one side , a thick in the middle and then come back in and that's pretty much it there we have it .
There's a cute cartoon owl .
