Easiest Way to Memorize 4x4 Corner Parity (Tutorial)

All right , welcome back everyone .

This is the final video in my additional help series .

And this time I will be explaining to you how to solve the corner parody on the four by four , Rubik's revenge .

Now , this parody occurs when two corners are misplaced while the other two are correctly positioned .

And you only run into this on the four by four cube .

As you know , on the three by three , you can only have one corner placed correctly , no corners placed correctly or all of them placed correctly .

This is a unique position for the four by four .

And so we need to learn a new formula to solve this situation and the formula is actually rather easy .

All we need to do is just make movements on the right wedge and on the top layer , those are the only moves we're gonna have to do for this .

And it's actually only maybe about six moves in general .

Each of these moves is going to be a double move .

So every time I turn something , I'm gonna turn it twice like that .

Ok ?

And it's only about six moves .

So what we're gonna do is we're gonna rotate the right wedge , then we're gonna rotate the top , then we rotate the right wedge again and we rotate the top , then we rotate the right wedge one final time and rotate the top one final time .

So we're pretty much making three right wedge rotations and three top rotations .

And here's what it looks like .

So we rotate the right wedge 12 also make sure you're holding it so that the two incorrectly placed corners on the bottom , left and bottom , right .

OK .

So we rotate the right wedge twice , then we rotate the top twice , 12 .

Then we rotate the right wedge twice again , 12 .

And after this second , right wedge turn , we turn the entire top half of the cube twice 12 , then we make our third and final rotation of the right wedge 12 and then we rotate the top two layers twice again .

So we can match up these colors and that's it , that should place your corners correctly .

Although what you'll notice is that you actually break your cross alignment a little bit .

And if you want to see how that's solved , you can go back to my original video .

Otherwise , I hope this helped you and hopefully you can figure out the rest of the cube from this point on again .

If you need any help , please feel free to visit the original tutorial .

Thanks for watching .
