How to Solve a 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube (Easiest and fastest tutorial, HD)

Hey guys and welcome back to another Stun Brothers tutorial today .

I will be teaching you how to solve a two by two Rubik's cube .

This is much easier to learn compared to the three by three Rubik's cube because there are only two algorithms you need to memorize .

So let's begin to learn how to solve any Rubik's cube .

You will need to know what notation is .

So when I say R , you're going to rotate the right face clockwise .

If I say R I or right inverted , you're going to rotate the right face counterclockwise .

We also have F and F I or F inverted L and inverted U , you inverted D de inverted and B and be inverted .

So let's begin the first step in solving this Rubik's cube is to get the full white top .

I would recommend that you go and play with this before .

But if you wanna learn how to right now , let's continue .

I like to use the logo as a reference point and put in all the white other white pieces around it .

Let's start off by putting uh let's say this one right here because this piece is a white red and green and this is a white , red and blue .

And the white and red , the white and red and the white and red go together .

So if we just rotate it up like this , now we've got a pair basically and they match up .

So let's go find another one .

We have this one , this one is a whites , uh blue and orange and this is a white , blue and red .

So the white and blue can go together .

This piece needs to go right here .

So how do we do that ?

Well , it's on the bottom .

So it's a little bit different from say this piece , but we can do this by rotating it here and then bringing it up twice like that .

And I'll , I'll do that again for you .

So move right here and then bring it up like that .

So now we have this piece and it needs to go in that spot , but it's just turned the wrong way so we can turn it like this to bring it down and take it out of its spot because its spot was right here .

We take it out , put it on the bottom row right here , put this back up and now we need to get this back here , but with the white facing the top .

So what we do is we put this white under the spot , we want it to be in right here .

Now we get it out of the way so that we can bring this down and make that pair , that pair right here because it's white and green and then we can put it back up .

So I'll show you again .

And the reason we can't turn it this way to get it out of the way is that it moves with it .

So now it's impossible for me to get it in that spot .

So we move it , you , you'll just have to determine that yourself .

We move it over here , then we bring this down and then we put it in and bring it back up .

And now we have the full white side .

So the next step is to get a full yellow side on the exact exact opposite face .

So how we do that is we have one algorithm that we need to learn .

This is a list of some cases that your yellow side can be in .

You're gonna need to turn your cube so that you can match up these cases or else you'll be stuck doing the algorithm over and over again .

So I recommend taking a screenshot of this and learning it .

Do this algorithm .

Ru R I , you R you too .

All I , all right .

Now we're gonna have to do it again .

R you R I , you R and then U two and then R I .

So now we have this full yellow side .

And the next step is to get a completed cube .

So how we do that is , we find two pieces that match a face .

So we have green right here , the green , we'll complete this phase right here .

So these two need to be switched and I'll show you how to do that with this next algorithm .

What we do is we put this green side or whatever side is completed for you .

We put that on the bottom and the white facing towards you see it's on the bottom .

Now , now we do this algorithm Riur I D two R U I R I D two and then R two and then just find how it goes like that .

So there you go , you have to complete a cube .
