How to Draw a Christmas Elf Easy and Cute

Hi guys waiting here in this video .

We're gonna draw my Christmas Elf .

So let's get started with this Elf .

We're gonna first start by drawing his face .

So I'm gonna be basically drawing a very wide U bottom of A U .

So I'm gonna start by right here and I'm gonna go to the other side .

So nice and white about , let's see here about right here and I'm gonna draw the other side and we gonna go all the way around connected like that .

So it's just very wide and out curve and then from there , let's come in this area right here where you started your line and we're gonna draw a big circle towards the edge for the eyes .

The same thing on the other side right there .

Oops , I love the straw .

Check your eyes because uh you can always fix them .

It's not a big deal .

That's what I love about them .

OK .

So then right here , we're gonna add two circles for highlights , hand curve line at the bottom and shade in the top hand lines at the bottom .

It's the same thing over here , two circles and a curve flying and shade in the top .

So you see my boo boo is all fixed right here .

OK ?

And the lines at the bottom .

OK ?

So then from there , we're just gonna come up right here and just add a little curve for the brow on both sides .

And then let's bring this curve up .

So we have the eyes .

Oh I forgot his mouth .

OK .

Let's try his mouth first and between the eyes right here , I'm just gonna add a little curve for sweet smile and cap it off all there .

Now let's bring this line up to draw the rest of his face .

So we'll bring it up a little bit more and about right there .

I'm going to connect it with a curve .

So that's on the beginning of his hat .

So I'm gonna come up right here and drop curve all the way over and then now we can draw his hair .

So right in the center right here in this area , I'm gonna draw his hair .

So we come about right here and draw a curve down , goes up a little bit in zigzag and then just finish it off .

It's nice and easy and then we're going to start to draw his hat .

So I'm gonna come over here to this edge and bring out a curve , they come in and out .

So it's just something on this side just to help make it a little bit more even than in .

So we just have as long as we have this one first , then we can start to just exactly these bigger ones up here .

So I'm just gonna go all the way across from there .

Let's go up and draw the top of this hat .

So I'm gonna come in this area right here and start to draw these angles that go up higher up .

So our point is gonna be about right here , the highest point and then we're gonna start to bring it down .

So before we finish off the little tail part , let's come over here and we're going to draw a curve up .

So basically , kind of like where his face was right there and just gonna draw curve up and finish off this hat .

So let's bring it down route and then right here connected and finish it off with a curve and then you can drop the lift puy ball .

OK ?

So then we've done with his hat .

Now let's draw his um ears .

So we come in this area right here and tuck his ears in the curve that comes right in here and sharp point and bring it down .

So details in here just come in here and a curve .

So same thing on this side .

So just basically tucking a curve out .

So all right there , bring in the curve and we're gonna end at the same spot on the other side .

So just bring it in and curve .

So once again , same thing just in details and out .

Ok .

So then now let's draw his um little altitude .

So we come over here and draw a curve .

So this is gonna be that decorative part on the top and we're just gonna zig zag say , let's see here .

Just get one , the smaller one in on both sides .

Now we're gonna , I can think I fit about three and connect it and then you can come onto the ends right here and just draw a circle on each end for the bells .

If you wanted to had bells or you can even add some bells up here .

It's all up to you .

How fancy you want this elf to be .

So if you want to make them bells and just come in here and draw a dot And then a line down .

So it makes it look like a little bell , this little gold bells and another one here and one more .

Ok .

So then now let's draw his little um suit right here .

So I'm gonna imagine his armpits about right here on both sides and I'm going to draw an angle lying down .

So I'm gonna keep bringing it down a little bit more and connect it and then from there , let's draw his arms .

So shoulders come down and about right here .

Nice and easy to his side .

I'm going to connect it about right here .

Draw the little poofy cuff part and connect it and he's just gonna be wearing gloves So it's just a curve and a bigger curve and connected .

So same thing on this side .

So that's n same spot on the other side right there and connect .

And so once again , same thing curve for the thumb right there , then bring it around with the fingers and then draw some details inside here .

So right in the center , let's draw kind of like a rectangular square for his belt to come in here and draw the inside and his belt park .

So connected .

So you're basically following this curve at the bottom like that .

And now for his leggings .

So I'm just gonna make it really easy and just draw two angle lines right here in the center .

It's about right there and come out here to another angle .

So tapering as you go and connected .

Hm This leg is a little bit fatter .

Huh ?

OK .

Let's make it a little bit skinnier .

OK .

Now to try the little poof part right here .

So this one's gonna be I'm gonna give it some angles , some zig zags .

It's the same thing over here .

So I hope this draw inspires you to come up with your own kind of el however you want to um draw him with his costume and then from there , we're gonna draw his little elf shoe .

So come here , curve it out and connect it back in here .

So same thing line down , go up and come back to connect and you can come in here and draw some stripes for his leggings .

So just draw the curve .
