How to Draw a Gingerbread Man _ Christmas Series #2

Hi , Jessie is here today .

We're gonna draw a gingerbread man .

So let's get started to draw this cute gingerbread man .

Let's start by drawing a curve for the bottom of the Santa hat .

So I'm just gonna come right here and draw a soft curve just all the way across something like that .

And then using that curve , I'm gonna start to draw the face of the gingerbread man .

So let's come right here and I'm just gonna round it off on both sides and just gonna draw a round curve for the head and connected there .

Nice and round .

OK .

So then from there , um let's come up here and draw the Santa hat .

So I'm gonna come right here where we started that curve and go up with a curve .

So this is gonna sit right on top and same thing over here and using that , we're gonna round it off and curve .

Get back to this part right here and connect it .

So then from there , let's draw the top of the Santa hat .

So let's come right in here .

Come in a little bit .

I'm gonna draw a curve that goes up and about the center part , we're gonna start to come down and bring it towards this area .

But before I bring it down , let's come over here and I'm gonna draw a curve right here for the other side of the hat .

And then let's bring this curve down .

And right here , we got another little curve and now we can just go ahead and draw the little white poof ball there .

OK .

So we have the hat in now that makes a little bit more sense , right ?

Let's come and bring this gingerbread man to life .

So I'm gonna come in this area , say about right here .

I'm just gonna go ahead and draw a circle and same thing on the other side .

It's about right here and let's go in and make them draw a Q I .

So let's add two small circles inside for highlights and a curve line at the bottom and shade in the top and the lines at the bottom and same thing over here .

OK .

And then let's come to the top of each eye and we're just gonna draw a small curve on top of each eye and then right in between , let's try a big smile .

So about right here .

Uh Let's see about right here .

I'm gonna start and give our gingerbread man a big smile and cap it off .

They're very happy .

OK .

So then let's come down here and right in the center , we're gonna draw the bow .

So .

Oh Right .

Here , start with a circle and the loops on our bow .

So nice and round and same thing over here that's come in here with a curve for some detail .

And then now let's draw the body .

So my hands on this gingerbread man are out .

So let's come about right here where the head is .

So just imagine the arm is kind of going out .

So about right here .

I'm just gonna bring out a curve and I'm gonna bring it back around nice and soft curve and , but right there , I'll stop .

So same thing right here .

Boom , little curve up with the hand and , but right there , once again , bring it right back .

So now it's about the same level .

Now , let's bring this down , curb it a little bit and we're gonna flare it out a tiny bit .

It's the same thing over here then from there , let's start to draw the legs .

So it's the same thing like the arms just nice around .

All right , then I'm gonna bring it in and I'm gonna aim towards the center .

So my legs are gonna be about the same width as the arm maybe just a little bit thicker , but we're aiming towards the center right here .

So by right there and same thing over here go up .

OK .

So we're aiming towards the center once again .

So to come in here and just bring it up and connect there .

OK .

So from there , let's decorate our gingerbread man .

I'm gonna come to the center right here and draw two small circles for the buttons .

Of course , this is the part where you have fun and decorate your gingerbread man however you like .

And let's come over here and I'm gonna draw a curve to make it look like he's wearing gloves and see here .

Add another line .

There may be a wiggle line right here .

I hope this dry inspires you to come up with your own gingerbread man .

And same thing over here and sit down here .

We're gonna make it look like he's wearing boots .

So we socks .

So exactly the same thing like the arms .
