Hi guys today , I'm Diva Skin cook .
I am finally making the highly requested pancake syrup recipe .
Oh my God .
I know it's been so long .
You guys , I'm sorry .
But I think once you taste this buttery smooth goodness , you will agree that it was well worth the wait .
Let's go .
All right .
First step , we're gonna add some warm water into our pot here .
I'm using a non stick pot .
Next we're gonna add in some brown sugar dump that right on and we're not gonna use any corn syrup or anything like that .
This is an old fashioned syrup recipe .
We're gonna add in a little bit of white sugar .
My grandmother uses all white sugar , but I really like the taste of that brown sugar in there .
So good .
All right .
So we're gonna stir this up .
I have my heat on medium .
I'm gonna stir this up and so all that sugar has melted .
We're gonna bring it to a very light like simmer like this right here .
Ok .
Now this is our cue to add in our salt and our cream of tartar .
So go ahead and dump that salt and that cream of tar tar in there and stir it up just like this .
Now , we're gonna bring it to a , you know , kind of like a bowl if you will , a little , little , a light bowl .
OK .
We're gonna simmer this like this for about eight minutes until it thickens up and it coats the back of our little spa like this front .
See how it's kind of like thick and it's kind of coating a little bit .
It's still pretty thin .
But as it cool off , it's really gonna get thick .
We're gonna add in our butter , two tablespoons of cream and butter and this butter is like the secret ingredient .
It just takes this syrup to the next level .
It's crazy how much flavor this butter adds ridiculous .
Go ahead and stir that butter on in there and next we're gonna add in our extracts .
I'm using vanilla extract .
Ok ?
You can use like coconut , extra , extra , you can really like have fun with it .
But I want this to be like a butter maple flavor .
So I'm using some maple vanilla extracts and some maple dump that and stir it on up and guess what ?
You guys , we are like so done .
Go ahead and let it cool off a little bit until it gets like really thick because it's gonna get really thick as it cools .
It's crazy how thick it gets .
But I'm gonna pour this into my serving dish or , and measure cup because I want you guys to see it .

And there it is luscious luscious pancake syrup .
You guys , let me tell you , it's so easy to get spoiled when you have this homemade syrup because it's just , it has like levels of flavor .
You can taste the butter , you can taste the extracts , it just not flat like you know , store can be .
But yeah , that's it .
