And then again , this should , this has to go this way , not this way because you don't wanna make the red go that way , you wanna make it go that way .
So to do it again , you do you ru prime R prime .
So um that's what basically what that basically does is you just move it out of the way or instead of moving .
Well , you move it away from the direction you want to put it in , you do an up and U prime our prime and then again , you just put it in normally .
So now we have 12 of the four total um edges .
So now let's do um this one , then there's three total cases but looks like we're gonna have the same one for each of them .
But anyways , this one , the greens are matching , this is orange , that is not the orange side , this is , let's put it in again , you do Uru prime R prime and then now you have a um like a pair , I guess .
And then you put it in normally again .
So you do , you move it in the way you bring it down , you put it in and then you bring it back up , then um , this is the same case but I'm gonna try and get a different case .
So I'll be right back .
OK ?
So the second case is instead of moving it to the right , you move it to the left , it's exactly , it's basically the same thing .
Just different primes .
So you have um , the blues are matching but the orange isn't .
So you don't bring the orange that way , but you bring it that way this time .
So to do that , you move it away or yeah , you move it to the direction that away from the direction .
So since you're trying to bring this there , you move it away .
So basically you prime um L prime , you bring it up , you and our prime .
So it's basically the same thing just on this side and then to put this in , it's on just on the left side .
So you move it out of the way you put this down and then you put it in and then you put it back out .
So that's how you do the middle um or the second layer , but there's gonna be one more case .
So I'll be right back to show you it .
OK ?
So the last case is when it's in , but it's flipped .
This rare rarely happens .
But if it does , um I don't just don't wanna miss anything .
So to do this , you put a piece with an yellow um edge , that's the only time you're gonna put a yellow edge in a mid um middle um the second layer .
So that's so you only do it when it's in the second um when the it's flipped .
OK .
Sorry there .
So , um so now what you have to do is just put in any edge with a yellow piece , it has to be a yellow piece when it's flipped to do it .
You , you just bring it to the with um you wanna bring this , you wanna replace this one with this , so you just do the same thing , Uru prime R prime and then you just put it in normally , then the piece that you , that was in it gets out which because you replaced it and then now you can put it in normally .
So since the blue goes that way you do Uru Prime R prime , then it ha it makes like a pair and then again , you just put it in normally .
So um yeah , that's how you do the second late er of the three by three , Rubik's Cube .
I hope you enjoyed this video .
Don't forget to um subscribe , comment and like , and um I'll see you in my next video .
So if you look at a cube and it always helps if you have another cue when you're starting out , I've got yellow on top , I'm gonna have , I'm gonna work on blue .
That means reds on this side because if you mess it up and you put orange over here , the cue won't work .
So you gotta make sure that you put the centers in the correct place .
OK ?
So I'm gonna put blue here and now I'm not gonna worry about the white and I'm not gonna worry about the yellow .
Let's just worry about getting blue here .
So I've got one blue here .
Here's another blue .
Ok , so now I've got two blues .
Here's another blue here .
Now , since I don't have two , it's ok , I'm just gonna bring this blue up .
Turn it , bring this one back .
So I've got two now that are in the same spot .
Let's find the blue again .
You see , there's a blue right here and we're gonna bring it up .
We lined it up , bring that up , turn it , uh , we gotta turn it out of the way and then we bring it back .
So now we've got three .
Now let's find another blue .
It looks like there's a blue at the bottom .
See this blue is at the bottom here .
We need to bring it up here .
It's already lined up with the two .
So go ahead and turn .
It's ok .
If we turn two at a time , it's not gonna , now that doesn't work because we have to line it up .
So let's line it up with this , these two .
And what I mean by lining up is once you bring that two , they have to line up like that .
So now they're lined up , now you can get it out of the way and easily bring back the other two .
Ok ?
Now , as you can see , we didn't mess up the yellow and we didn't mess up the white because we're just working in between the two .
So I've got yellow on top blue .
Now , I know red's got to go here .
Ok ?
If I make orange here , I'm in a lot of troubles and I've done that before and then you try to figure it out and you're , you're wondering why it's not working .
That's why .
So check that out .
Remember what I'm saying ?
Because it will happen to you .
Ok ?
We need red to go here .
So I'm gonna forget about everything else .
Let's go ahead and get red here .
I've got it , red doesn't matter which way you hold the cube .
I always like to keep the color .
I'm working on uh facing up .
I've got red here .
Red's gonna go here .
Um It's already lined up .
So we're gonna bring this red up to the top .
Let's get it out of the way .
Bring back the two .
OK ?
We got to get the center .
It's very important to get the center , which is the nucleus .
Uh Let's do another red there .
It is right there .
So this red's got a line up over here .
I'm gonna turn this there .
See it matches up perfectly .
We'll get it out of the way and we'll bring back the red , which is at the bottom .
Now , see it's right there and we'll bring that up .
We're trying to create a three by three , basically .
OK ?
Now , most of the colors should be done .
Let's see , we've got red , there's blue .
Uh see we've got green and orange are the only ones that aren't done .
So I'm gonna go back to yellow so I can get my bearings yellow on top , blue , red .
And then over here , uh we've got green and opposite of red is orange .
So we need this to be orange .
So I'm just gonna make this orange .
Once I fix the orange , the green will fix itself .
So I see orange here , I'm gonna go ahead and turn this this way because I see two orange here and this is the top .
I'm working with .
I'm gonna bring that up .
Move the oranges out of the way , bring back my oranges and now everything is done .
See how it , it doesn't mess with the other centers .
OK ?
So now that we have that done , now what we get into the relationship portion .
So that was part one guys .
Part one is create the centers .
OK ?
Part two is doing the edges um In a normal three by three , you only have one edge here .
You have two .
What we need to do is marry the two edges .
So we've got these um these edges , you have two of them , you have to find its , its counter uh part .
So once you find its partner , um they will be married and they will become one edge like in marriage .
OK ?
Becomes 12 flesh , becomes one flesh .
So now what we gotta do , this is tricky .
Um But you guys can get it .
Uh We're gonna go ahead and find the pieces .
So I'd like to work with um , any side it doesn't matter which side you're working with and I start looking for uh the partner .
So I've got blue and white here .
I don't see blue and white .
I got red and yellow , red and green .
So I'm looking for any of these .
Oh , look , there's a red and yellow and there's a red and yellow , usually just in one face , you could find edges that match .
So these match .
So what I need to do is I need to get them to line up .
So what I did is I've got this red and yellow here and a red and yellow here .
I've got to get this red and yellow here .
So it's almost like uh they're diagonal a little bit like that .
Uh So I can um do the next move set .
So if you get them to line up like this on the same line , it's a simple move to get this to go here .
OK ?
This is very important .
So all you do is you're gonna move this up .
So our piece is now up here and then we're gonna turn the face this way and I'm gonna turn the cube this way .
So this is still here and now I'm gonna bring back my red and yellow , which is right here .
OK ?
Now they're diagonal , see yellow , red yellow red .
Did you see that move ?
That move is very important .
I'm gonna do that same move and I'm gonna bring this one back here .
So easy you go up , I turn the cube and I , as I turn this this way and I bring this back up and now they're both on the same line again .
See that I'm gonna do that again just so you can see the move again .
So you can go up because I don't want to call this an algorithm .
It's really not .
You're just gonna move this up here .
There it is .
Then I'm gonna turn the cube , turn this and turn the cube this way so I can keep this top , this piece on the upper left hand side and then just bring this up and there it is once I have this diagonal , um what I wanna do is I wanna go like this and put them together .
See now they're married .
I just married those two pieces .
Let me go back .
See all my centers are together .
See the centers , I'm gonna marry these two pieces now like that .
Now we gotta move them out of the way .
So they stay married .
How do we do that ?
We lift it up to the top , I need to replace , move this back down .
So I'm gonna just turn this and bring this back down .
OK .
So my two married pieces are up here .
I just put two single pieces there that don't are not married .
Now , I need to bring back my blue , which is right here .
Yeah .
So cool .
Now we did our first one .
See , there they are happily married now we gotta marry every single edge .
Now let's go find another edge .
I see here .
Red and white .
Do we have a red and white ?
I don't have a red and white there .
If I want , I can even go like this and still search but I just like to search whatever's here .
So blue and blue and orange .
Uh Do we have a blue and orange ?
There's a blue and orange right here .
See blue and orange and a blue and orange .
Now , if I just flip this like this , let's flip it like this .
Let's flip it like this .
So I've got blue and orange here and I've got blue and orange here and you can go either way .
You don't have to marry him to this side .
You can marry him to this side .
So this is already nicely um put set here , it's diagonal .
It's ready to roll .
So I'm just gonna go ahead and marry these two .
Boom .
There it is .
See that now they're married .
I need to get them out of the way because I gotta bring back my yellow , right ?
So I gotta get it out of the way .
So I get out my married couple out of the way .
I need to move them out of the way so I can bring them back an unmarried couple up here .
Let's bring them back down and now let's bring the yellow back .
Yellow comes back .
Ok , there we go .
So all my centers are good .
If you don't , if you forget to bring back the centers , you'll mess everything up and you'll be like , oh my gosh , what happened ?
You have to go back to part one .
Ok .
Um , where's our married couple ?
There ?
They are happily married right here .
Ok , cool .
Now let's go find another married couple .
I always like to use a face that has no married couple .
See there's a married couple here .
So let's get them out of the way .
Unmarried .
Unmarried , unmarried and unmarried .
Cool .
Now let's match them up .
Oh cool .
I already see a red and blue and a red and blue over here .
So let's turn it around this way .
This is the way we like to work with it .
I need to get this one here .
Remember the move set for that ?
It's move it up .
Ok , so it's over here .
See that this guy is still here .
Now we're gonna turn him this way but now turn the cube because we want to keep this guy here and then move this up and look he's right there and she's right there .
Ok .
So now we gotta do is take these two and marry them .
Hey , we put them together there they are .
Uh now remember that uh I just moved the orange over here so the orange is gonna have to come back .
Um I like to move this up to the top and we're gonna need to replace these two with an unmarried couple .
There's an unmarried couple right there .
We'll bring them back down .
And now where's our orange ?
Well , our orange is right here .
Let's bring back the orange and there we go .
So we just keep doing this .
Ok .
So I like this face .
I got two married couples .
I got a married couple here .
Let's get them out of the way .
Um Now let's go to the next one .
You can see all of these are single pieces .
Uh Here's a red and white and here's a red and white .
Cool .
So all I gotta do is get these on opposite sides , right .
So let's get that red and white over .
I'm just gonna move this over and move them down .
So I've got red and white here and I got red and white here and they're already diagonal and now I can put them together and it doesn't matter which way you go , you can go this way if you want or you can go this way if you want .
Um Whenever I've got a piece on the top on this side , I always like to bring this one over here .
I don't know .
It's just my preference .
This comes over like this .
They're married .
I , we gotta remember that .
My orange is here .
I need to bring it back here .
So now I've got a married couple .
I like to move them up .
Now , what can happen ?
I'm looking here already .
If I move this married couple up here , all of these other ones are already married , so I won't have a single couple to bring down .
So that's not gonna work .
So let me bring them back .
So they're still across from each other .
But now all I'm gonna do is turn the cube upside down .
OK ?
Over here I got a party going on .
Look at all these singles .
OK ?
So that's where I need to send my married couple up .
So now this guy , let's see , we've got a red and white here and a red and white here .
Cool .
I match them up .
Marry them .
I'm bringing them up to the single land up here .
Single .
Let's move this over here so I can bring down a single couple there .
The singles are here and let's put , bring back my orange .
So all my centers are always on point .
See my centers are never getting messed up .
And my married couple , where are they ?
They're right here .
Happily married .
Red and white .
OK .
Let's go to another phase .
Here's a good face here .
It's got singles , singles , singles , there's a married couple here , let's move them out of the way .
They're married .
They are married and they're married and that's gonna start to happen as you marry all these off .
Eventually they're all gonna be married .
So that's fine .
So , now let's , uh , let's pick one .
I've got red and green .
So let's find a red , another .
Red and green .
Here's a red and green right here .
So , um , we'll move the red and green out of the way here , bring them down .
So the red and greens are on the same size , same side .
Um , so you can see here , red and green and red and green .
So they're lined up .
Uh Now we gotta do that move set whenever these two are lined up , I gotta get this , this one down here , right ?
So what's the move set ?
Move them up ?
We're gonna turn this face this way , but now I'm gonna turn my cube because I want to keep this guy here and then move this up and there is the red and green and red and green and they're diagonal now .
Cool .
Now let's go ahead and put those two together .
There they are .
Um And I'm gonna go up , I see plenty of singles up here .
So I'm not worried about bringing them up here .
We'll move them out of the way , but I can't bring this guy down because that's a married couple .
Keep going until I get to my single couple , bring down my single couple and let's bring back our yellow , right ?
And our yellow is back .
All my centers are great and my married couples right there red and blue .
So by now I think you should be getting this .
Ok .
Um just review the video and um just keep keep on going .
Ok , let's go to the next one .
let's see .
I've got a yellow and green , let's find a yellow and green .
These are all married couples so I don't like that .
I'm gonna try to move this over to where all my unmarried people are .
Let's see .
Uh I don't know they're just all scattered pretty good .
Ok , so I'm just gonna start moving these around until I get a lot of the unmarried people together here .
They got unmarried , unmarried .
These guys are unmarried and I think these are all married .
So that's cool .
All right .
So I've got three here .
Um I've got red and white .
I'm sorry .
Yeah , blue and white and blue and white .
They're already crossed .
So let's put those together and here's an unmarried one too so I can go up .
So I'm gonna go here .
I'm gonna go up , I'm gonna move this over .
I'm gonna bring down these guys and then bring back my red and I just married those two .
Now I've got um red , I mean I have blue and yellow .
Let's see if I can find the other blue and yellow .
There's a blue and yellow here and you can turn the cube so you're not working with any particular side .
So I've got the yellow and blue here and the yellow and blue here .
I'm gonna move this guy over here and can we go up ?
Oh , let me put it back .
I can't go up .
I just noticed all of these are already together .
See that .
So I'm gonna flip the cube upside down and hopefully I've got some blanks here .
Now , these are all together as well .
Ok .
So let's get back to where we were .
I just lost my position here .
Yeah , My blue and yellow and my blue and yellow .
What I have to do now is find an unmarried couple , move them up .
So here's unmarried right here .
I'm gonna move them up to the top .
So now I know I can , I can do the switch .
So here we go , I'm gonna put these two together and I'm gonna go up , OK ?
I'm gonna turn this this way so I can bring down the couple that's not together and then red to red .
OK ?
So everything's cool .
Now we're getting to the point where every single side is together and I'm looking for the ones that aren't .
I think in this case they all are together .
Um I was hoping that we'd have one that was not together because when you come to the last two , there is an algorithm what you'll have two that are crossing this way and two that are crossing this way and you do an algorithm .
OK ?
Guys , since we um got lucky and didn't end up with um the two couples that you can't get together .
Um Every single couple is together .
Now , um I'm going to force the issue to bring you there .
OK .
So we're gonna kind of go back a little bit .
Um uh There's this algorithm which it will be coming up on the screen and uh I'm basically gonna unm marry these two , sorry , they're gonna get divorced temporarily and then they're gonna get back together .
OK ?
And here is the algorithm that you need to learn .
OK ?
Um is double DRF prime U OK .
Double D is doing the um the two at the bottom , double D , double D are F prime U R prime F double D prime .
Oh I just checked it up .
Didn't I did I mess it up .
No , I think I got it .
OK , guys .
Uh I kind of messed up the algorithm a little bit but it , it's all good .
Um Here are the , what happens when you get this , you get all of the sides matched up except for two .
So you have to do this one algorithm .
You see green and orange and green and orange .
You've got to get these to line up across from each other .
Red and green and red and green right now .
They're mixed up .
So let's go ahead and do that one move set , which fixes that problem .
So we're gonna go up , turn this and then turn the cube and there .
Now they're lined up , see red and green , red and red and green .
And we also have orange and green and orange and green .
These are the only two that are left that are not married now that they're lined up together .
You're gonna do this move set .
And the way you remember it is like this double DRF prime U , the other person says R prime F , double D prime , OK .
Double D or the two down , double D RF prime U R prime F , double D prime .
And as you can see , the reds are now red and green are married and the orange and green are married and that's all of them are married .
OK ?
I'm gonna do a separate video on every single algorithm .
So we're gonna move forward on this video and um you guys can look up the other videos for the individual algorithm .
So I'll do three separate videos .
Um So let's continue .
Now , what you have here is basically like this , you have a three by three .
Um All the centers are done , all the sides are the same and now we can go ahead and solve it exactly how you learned to do the three by .
OK , guys .
So let's go ahead and do the Daisy .
The very first thing you do is the Daisy .
We're gonna go ahead and do the yellow .
We'll work with yellow and white .
OK ?
So we're gonna go ahead and do the Daisy .
Now , for those of you who watch my three by three .
You'll know how to do this super easy .
If you didn't watch it , please go and watch it because I'm gonna try to go through this kind of fast .
So we're getting the Daisy .
Uh , where is the other whites ?
They're right here .
Now , remember I'm gonna refer these as one piece now that they're married .
Ok .
So you're married , once you're married , you are one , you are no longer two .
So there's the Daisy , right ?
Perfect .
Now we're gonna line up uh the whites and the green see here with its corresponding color , white and green .
There it is .
Once I get that lined up , we're gonna put this 100 and 80 degrees to the bottom , ok ?
Now this part of the Daisy Petal , let's find it's orange .
There it is 100 and 80 degrees to the bottom , the red , 180 degrees to the bottom , the blue , white and blue , it's already lined up 100 and 80 degrees to the bottom .
Now we're gonna flip the cube and what do we have the cross , the cross .
Once you have the white , cross , everything lines up nicely .
See how that lines up .
Cool .
Now we're gonna go ahead and do the corner .
So as you saw in the three by three video , we're gonna look for the whites and I always find the white down here .
We'll match it up with its color green .
That means that this goes up here .
I'm going kinda fast because you should have learned this in my other video .
Now , let's find the other whites .
There's another white right there .
We need to get that matched up with its blue .
There it is matches up with the blue and this goes up here , right .
So we'll move it out of the way , bring down this elevator like that and it goes up .
We've got one more to do .
There it is right there .
So I need to bring this down first .
Move it out of the way .
OK ?
Bring it over .
See the orange matches here .
That means that this white goes up here .
We'll move that out of the way , bring it down and there you go .
You've got uh the first layer is done .
OK ?
Um I'm running out of time so give me a second , I'm gonna unload my video card and I'll be back .
OK ?
Once we've done the top um layer now we're gonna go after the other two layers .
Um So we've got these two edge edge pieces that we're gonna need to do um to get F three L I guess it is .
All right .
So what do we do ?
It's the same thing as the same thing you do with the three by three .
So we're gonna go play with the yellow .
Now , we're only working with three , these edge pieces .
We don't want to mess with anything that's got the same color as the center that we're working with , we're working with yellow , we're gonna avoid yellow .
That's got yellow , that's got yellow , that does not have yellow .
That's cool .
So we'll go ahead and uh , make sure that's lined up .
The greens lined up with the green cool .
The red has got to go here .
Right .
So if this piece goes here , we've got to go away from the area towards the area just like the three by three .
Let's bring this down so we can move this here .
Once we get this over here , now we move it up and it's where it needs to be .
Now , what we gotta do , we gotta fix the white .
Remember we did now we messed up our white .
Fix the white just like the three by three .
OK ?
Now I'm assuming you guys have watched my three by three videos .
So I'm just kind of moving along here .
Um Now we got to fix uh another one .
Let's go back to our yellow .
We're working with edge pieces that have no yellow .
This is no yellow .
We're gonna move the orange to the orange .
The blue goes here , right ?
So we're gonna go away from there towards there .
Let's go ahead and bring this down here so we can bring , put these pieces over here .
I'll do that right there .
We're playing with doubles , of course , both edge pieces go and now it's , it's where it belongs , right ?
Fix the white .
Once you fix the white , everything will be wonderful .
Fix the white and we fixed the white .
Ok .
Uh We've got one more to do , but don't worry about that .
Let's go back to our yellow .
That's got yellow .
We don't play with it .
We've got that yellow there .
We've got that yellow there and we have a yellow here .
Yeah , this is cool because then when I did the uh three by three , we didn't run into this scenario .
So I got a lot of questions .
What happens when you get a bunch of yellow ?
Well , we're gonna have to trade one of these .
So what I like to do is look for what I got to trade for .
So I've got a blue and um red .
So I'm gonna spin this around until I find the blue .
There we go .
I've got blue here and I've also got red so I can trade any of these .
I'm gonna go ahead and trade the blue .
Uh it doesn't matter , but let's trade this one for this one .
So I'm gonna go away towards down same thing , same thing .
Fix the white .
I'm just moving along now since you guys know how to do that move .
Ok .
So we did a swap , we traded , let's go back to the yellow .
Now I've got the red and blue here .
So now that I have that I'm gonna match that up with the red .
There it is .
And it goes over here again , we're gonna go away towards bring down for the swap .
This goes over up and now we're gonna fix the white .
Ok , there we go .
Um , now we've got F three L , don't we ?
Yes , we do .
We've got F three L .
Now we're gonna go to the yellow and , um , we're working on the yellow side .
We're treating this exactly like you would , uh , a three by three .
However , now we run into this issue about parodies .
Don't know if you guys have heard about parodies , but with a four by four , when you try to solve it , this way , you run into these parodies and I believe I've got one here and I might even have one here , which means this yellow should be up here and this yellow should be up here .
Um If that happens , uh there is another algorithm you need to learn to solve that parody and you're gonna need to learn that one .
So in reality , there's actually a total of seven algorithms which will solve the other two parodies that you might run into .
Um I don't want to solve the parody now .
So what we're gonna do is I'm gonna pretend this is up here and pretend this is up here .
So what is that ?
If I had yellows here and yellows here , I would have the what I call the Taj Mahal .
OK , which is this pattern , yellows , yellows and then this sticking up here .
Um But any you can do rur prime with any of this .
So let's pretend this is a Taj Mahal and we're gonna do um Rur prime and uh we'll , we'll do it with this one .
This is a algorithm you already know .
And um you know , you really can't if I do Rur prime in any which way I'm still gonna get a more favorable um pattern .
So I'm gonna just do it like watching my old other video and do the uh Rur Prime .
Here you go .
Rur Prime .
U are you two times our prime ?
Yeah , we definitely got some serious parodies going here .
This is here and this is here .
So now I've just got the cross straight up cross and I've got yellows facing this way .
So I'm gonna hand uh have the yellow edge uh side , a corner piece facing to the left there and I'm gonna do Rur Prime Uru two times our prime .
OK ?
Now , what do we have here ?
That's the fish .
That's the fish .
If these , if this was yellow up here and this was yellow up here , that would be the fish with the yellow facing us .
So we go ahead and do our Ur Prime .
Rur prime .
You are you two times our prime ?
OK .
Now we solved the yellow if we didn't have these parodies , OK .
I'm gonna make a video so solely on the parodies , but I will explain the parody and we will solve this in this , in this video .
OK ?
So let's pretend this is all yellow , right ?
Because we've got the parody here and the parody here .
So what do we do if this is orange ?
Let's see .
I'm looking for corners that match .
Here we go .
I got two blues .
Now , by the way , you're gonna run into other videos where like , oh the corner parody .
No , there , yes , there's no algorithm for the corner parody , but don't need it , man .
Why complicate things ?
You never have to use an additional algorithm to solve this corner parody .
All I do is I take these two and let's match it with its corresponding color .
There it is blue and I'm happy here .
Once I have this , I put this towards the back and I'm gonna do this algorithm , which is the one that you guys have learned on the three by three , which is our prime Fr prime back two times , right ?
There's two guys talking .
So we're gonna go R prime fr prime back two times .
The other guy says RF prime R prime back two times .
They both say R two times and uh A U prime usually solves a side .
Cool .
There it is .
Boom .
I'm gonna take this solid side and put it towards the back .
You can see how it's all coming together except my yellow is all messed up because of the purity .
Um That's all right .
So let's pretend the reds here and let's pretend um if this reds here , I can put that over here this is orange .
Orange needs to go here and blue needs to go here .
Wow .
I got three parodies now .
Oh , my gosh .
Uh , I got two .
What they call the , oh , what is it oll parody ?
Is that what it's called ?
Yellow parody ?
They also refer to and then I've got this other parody where I have to swap these two and I know that's getting all confusing , but let's pretend everything was right .
Um What I wanna do is rotate the orange over here .
So I'm gonna face the orange to my , to , to me and I'm gonna do the other algorithm that you guys are familiar with , which is the R two times Uru and then you do R prime U prime , R prime , U prime R prime Ur prime .
Now , what I did essentially is move the orange from here over here .
So now the orange is here except that we're messed up with that parody .
Still , this is another messed up parody .
The red should be here and this uh red and blue need to swap .
OK ?
Um But what's happening now is that I actually have to get this to this side so I can swap those two in an algorithm and then fix the yellow parody in an algorithm .
So this really messed up sometimes when you do the four by four , it just comes together like a three by three and you don't run into any parodies and um it works out perfectly .
Sometimes you get this monster .
This is a monster right here .
So it's kind of cool .
I guess that it happened um , on video , but now my video is gonna go long .
Um , so let's see , let's keep going .
What I gotta do now is I've got to move , um , this red over here , so I'm going to rotate it clockwise because I need these two to be on opposite sides and I'm not sure if it's gonna work out exactly .
But um what I do know is that these two cannot be next to each other .
They have to be across from each other in order to do a um the algorithm for that parody .
So I'm gonna do it again .
R two times .
Urur prime U prime R , prime U , prime R , prime U are prime , boom .
Look at that .
There they are , they're across from each other now .
Awesome .
So the blue resolved itself there he is .
Now , I've got these two that are need to be swapped and they both have pa uh yellow parodies .
If , if I didn't have the yellow parody , the red would be here and the orange would be here .
These two just need to swap and that's another parody .
So it's kind of a parody mixed with a parody .
So , what a mess .
All right guys .
So I'm gonna teach you the parody uh to swap these two .
So I'm gonna swap them first and then I'll just be left with the yellow parody .
Uh Sorry , this came out so confusing .
I hope this video really helps and I think it will .
Um Let's go ahead and swap it .
Here is the new , a new algorithm you need to learn .
I've already taught you one new one .
This is the second one for the parody and it's um uh I gotta think about it .
Uh It's not double D , it's double U .
Yeah , W-2 times .
So we're gonna double U which should be up .
We're gonna do it double though .
So you're gonna go double two times , double R two times .
So you answer right ?
So you got W and double R .
So W-2 times double R two times and then he's gonna say , oh yeah , you two times and then R is gonna say , oh yeah , little R two times .
That's this one in the middle here .
Little R two times .
Everything's two times .
And then he's going to say , wait a minute , you two times and then we go back to normal , double R two times , double U two times .
OK .
So we did the swap .
If we didn't have a parody , we'd have the red in the right spot and we'd have the orange in the right spot .
It's solved .
But we've got a double , we've got a double yellow parody .
What a pain .
Unbelievable in this video .
All right .
So now we're gonna do the double .
Now we're gonna do the yellow parody also called the is it the OLL parody or OD ?
I don't know .
I'll figure it out on my next video .
I will name it the correct name .
OK ?
For this parody .
And then you can see other videos , but I think I'm not , I'm gonna teach you this without learning the algorithm .
Um It's more of a pattern instead of the actual algorithm .
OK .
So this is Little R , OK .
Little R and this is Little L , OK ?
So that's how we're going to refer to those .
Um Then I just mess this up .
I did .
Oops , there we go .
Now we're back .
There is our cube just so you can see it .
Um We're gonna go ahead and face the parody towards us and we're gonna do this move set and I'm not teaching you the um because I really don't know it .
I , I do it for more of a pattern and it's easier to memorize .
It's a very hard one , obviously write this down .
So we're gonna bring down this little R and every time you mess with the little R or the little L , you have to make a move .
That's two times .
So I brought that down and you're going to do the up two times .
Now , it's a little L , whenever little L comes moves in this case , it came down , you're gonna do face two times .
Now little L is gonna go up .
Well , what do we do when little goes up ?
You're gonna do face two times when little L moves at all .
Now we're gonna um , since we did two .
Little L's , now the R is upset he's saying , oh yeah .
Well , I get to go twice .
So he's gonna go down twice .
Little R goes down twice .
And what happens when that , when you move ?
Little R you gotta do the face two times .
And now li uh little R is upset .
Still , he's gonna go up one and then we're gonna do face two times and he's still mad .
He's gonna go down one more .
And what happens ?
We gotta do the top uh up twice .
Now , once that happens , you're gonna see this , these two right here and we're , we're gonna do is match it up with this .
So I'm gonna go around until it matches up there .
It is .
See how now it's on the same line and then once you match it up , little R is gonna go down two times again .
Little R goes down two times .
But this time , once Little R does that , we're already matched up .
All we gotta do is match up the yellow , just keep going and boom , we're done .
See , we got rid of one of the yellow parodies .
Now we've got left is one yellow parody .
We're gonna do this again , guys .
OK ?
Make notes of this .
OK ?
If you wanna learn it a different way , but I think this is fairly easy .
Every time I move little R , I'm gonna use up twice every time I move little L I'm doing face twice .
OK ?
100 and 80 degrees .
So here we go .
Little R face twice .
Little L , I'm sorry , that wasn't face .
I was up twice .
Now it's face twice .
Face twice .
Little L again , little goes back up face twice .
Now little is upset .
He's gonna go twice , 12 up twice .
Then little r still upset .
He's gonna go back up twice .
Then he's going , I'm gonna go back down twice and there it is .
See the little , the little two guys there and we need to match this up with this .
That's easy .
Match it up there .
Now they're matched up .
Now we're gonna go down twice with the little R and now you can see it's pretty much solved .
Just move gets , get that yellow up twice .
Boom and it's solved .
See that ?
Yeah , the , the rubik's revenge is a little more difficult .
OK ?
But man , stick to it .
Don't give up .
This was the hardest tutorial ever because I , I ran into every possible scenario .
Um What a nightmare .
Anyway , I'm gonna talk more about these parodies on the other videos guys .
Please watch them because they're gonna help you tremendously .
We'll be able to talk more in detail about some other moves .
Please write uh questions .
I will uh try to answer them .
Please comment , subscribe and all that good stuff .
I'm be coming up with some other videos .
Um that aren't Rubik's Cube related just life in general .
How to like have awesome coffee uh with an espresso and some other really different videos that just help in life uh through this life .
You guys , all right .
Talk to you later .
Have an awesome day .
Yeah .
