Start your morning off right with some delicious apple sauce .
Pancakes with apple sauce in the batter in between the layers of the pancakes along with sour cream .
These are sure to become a family favorite .
The batter is super easy to put together .
It's two cups of flour , three tablespoons of sugar , a tablespoon of baking powder , 1.5 teaspoons of coarse salt mix this together .
This is the dry ingredients into this go all the liquid ingredients , two eggs , large eggs room temperatures best mix those in apple sauce .
This is three quarters of a cup of pink apple sauce , but you could use any type of apple sauce and four tablespoons of butter melted .
This helps it incorporate really well and two cups of whole milk .
Ok , whisk all of this together .
The batter will be a little bit lumpy .
Like most pancake batters are not to worry .
The addition of the apple sauce into these pancakes makes it super duper moist and yummy .
That looks perfect batter's ready .
And my griddle is hot brush it with a little bit of melted or softened butter just lightly .
Don't want a lot and then about a half a cup of batter per pancake .
Ok .
And wait till all those nice little bubbles appear on the top and then I'll know it's ready to turn over .
I think this guy is ready to turn .
He's nice and dry .
Lots of bubbles on the top .
Same with this one .
Those look beautiful .
Just a minute or so on the second side .
Ok .
I think they're ready to come off .
First batch is done .
Time to layer up our pancakes .
I'm going to do three for each person .
So pancake down , do a little bit of sour cream on top of each one and then some of this gorgeous pink apple sauce .
Second pancake kind of smoosh it around some more sour cream and our final pancake .
These look beautiful .
I think just a dollop on top of each one and nice bit of apple sauce .
These are ready to serve .
