How to Make Slime WITHOUT Borax! 4 Ways!

Hey , everyone today , I'm going to be showing you four different ways to make slime without any kind of borax .

So anyways , let's go ahead and get started .

And now while I prepare the slime bowls , I do want to let you guys know that personally , I don't find any problem with the Borax method .

I know some people freaked out after one incident , but I think you should definitely do the research yourself and I use Borax all the time like for laundry and cleaning solutions .

So I personally don't think it's harmful when it's dissolved properly and not made into an acid .

So I just wanted to throw that disclaimer out there , always do your own research .

And anyways , I'm just going ahead and adding some color to my glue to make some pretty colorful slime and I'm just stirring them all together .

I did a green , it was actually a neon green and then a neon pink and the purple was also neon and then the blue was just like a regular one .

These are like the gel food colorings .

You could use paint food coloring , whatever you prefer .

And then once it's all settled , I'm go ahead and start with the first method , which is laundry detergent .

You can use just about any laundry detergent .

Personally , I think Tide works really well .

Um You do have to pay attention to the color , which is why I'm mixing it into the blue .

It can affect the color of your slime .

But for all these , you just add a little bit at a time until it becomes the right consistency .

Just adding a little bit more .

Um , you could use most laundry detergents .

So whatever you have in your house should work .

And then of course , just start to need to it together once it starts to form into a slime like , so this next method is my personal favorite and it's using stay flow , which is a liquid starch .

You could find this in the laundry aisle in section at your Walmart or grocery store .

And so I'm adding that in also a little bit at a time and then stirring it together .

I think this fur warms like a awesome slime and it's very , very forgiving .

Um , like it won't turn bad if you add in the slightest bit too much .

Like it works really well .

It's very forgiving and it makes a really awesome , like , really fun loose kind of slime .

It's really like a wet consistency almost anyways onto method number three , which is my least favorite because it takes a lot of work and finessing and this is using saline solution or salt .

I have been asked before you can make your own saline solution with salt and water .

Just look online for the proper measurements .

Um I think this takes kind of like a lot of time to really work .

I was mixing this a long time before it really was like manageable in my hands .

So this is not my favorite method .

The next method will be a lot easier and it kind of like adding on to this .

So this is my least favorite .

I wouldn't really recommend it unless you kind of have to do it .

Um Anyways onto method number four , which also works really well .

You want to take some baking soda , it can't be baking powder , it has to be baking soda and then you want to dissolve it with the saline solution .

And this mixture is really gonna speed up the process um compared to the last one .

And as you can see , it's forming like a slime right away .

So this one works extremely well .

You can make like a big solution out of this and it won't change the color of your slime .

It has no smell , which I think is great and makes a good solution .

So the method number two is definitely my favorite with the liquid starch .

And this is my second favorite .

I don't like the laundry detergent as much because some laundry detergents won't work most well , but they also give a smell and a color .

So the , the second and the last one are my favorite .
