What you see on your screen right now .
It's a fairly typical cable box .

We're going to begin right after this start by connecting a good quality cable to this threaded input labeled cable in be certain to put that center conductor inside this hole .
And then from there , we're gonna come in about right here where we started and I'm gonna pop out a little curve , pop out a little curve right here and then we're gonna bring this all the way down for the bottom part of the mouth .
So bring it down nice steep angle .
And then about right here , once again in the center , round it off and same thing here and connect from there .
Let's draw the ice .
So I'm gonna come back onto the top right here and towards the center .
I'm just gonna come about right here , draw a curve and another curve right here right in the center .
And from here , I'm gonna come back to this area a little bit shorter , a little curve and then I'm going to connect it .
So come right here and we're just gonna go ahead and connect it with a soft curve .
So same thing here , it says shorter curve right here and then connect down .
Now we got our cable from the cable company , but if you don't have one , you can get one at a local big box retailer or online .
And an RG six cable would be way more desirable than an old RG 59 because an RG six has good electrical interference shielding capability , just tighten it until it's snug .
Now connect the other end of that same coaxial cable to a known working cable outlet again , make sure that you get the center conductor inside the hole and hand tighten just because you have a cable outlet at the wall .
It doesn't mean that there's an active cable television signal coming from that outlet .
Probably the best thing to do is use an HDM I cable that's rate at high speed .
And it's written on the cable like this one right here .
Let's come to the top right here and we're just gonna first start with these two main teeth , these two little main fangs and at the bottom as well .
Let's go ahead and I'm just going to tentatively draw very lightly the follow this curve I've made to the bottom of the , to draw the curve right there and then that's come to the bottom .
We're gonna draw two fit in two of these bottom fangs and then we're just gonna go ahead and whatever space I have left , I'm just gonna go zig zag some teeth all the way up there .
So open up the mouth a little bit more , you can add more teeth , more room .
And then right here , I'm just gonna put some here since I have some spacious .
Carefully , remove the plastic protective cover , be sure to line up your HDM I cable with the port and then slide it in and don't forget to connect your power supply that came with your cable box .
Just don't plug the other end of the power supply into an electrical receptacle yet .
Now , we're taking a close look at the connections on the back of the TV .
In this case , there are two HDM I ports .
This one is labeled arc , which is audio return channel and then there's HDM I number two , we're not gonna connect to the arc .
HDM .
I , because that is for sound systems , we're gonna connect to HDM .
I input number two , line up the other end of that HDMI wire and press it into place .
Grab your TV remote and turn on your TV .
Now grab your TV , remote , the remote that came with your TV and locate the input or source button and press it .
Because what we want to do is we connected our cable box to HDM I two .
Now , depending on your brand of TV , you should see a message like this on your screen that effectively tells you that you don't have a signal coming in to HDM I two and finally plug in power to your cable box .
Video should pop up on your screen .
If it doesn't , you may want to contact the cable company .
There's a chance that that cable wall outlet does not have an active cable TV signal coming to it .
