These pancakes are just right .
Ok .
Let's get started .
Combine three quarters of a cup of milk and two tablespoons of white vinegar .
This produces a unique flavor similar to buttermilk .
Now set that aside for five minutes to sour .
Now , in a large mixing bowl , combine one cup of all purpose flour , two teaspoons of white sugar , one teaspoon of baking powder , half a teaspoon of baking soda and half a teaspoon of salt .
Mix those together and now to the soured milk , add an egg and two tablespoons of melted butter and whisk the wet ingredients together , then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to make the batter whisk it until any lumps are gone .
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and coat it with cooking spray .
Or you can use a little butter .
If you prefer , then pour about a quarter cup of batter per pancake onto the skillet .
Cook it until the edges are brown .
Flip the pancakes with a spatula and cook the other side until it's brown , topped with whipped cream .
These delicious pancakes are the perfect weekend breakfast or brunch .
