DIY Galaxy Slime!

video content Image generated by Wilowrid

I want you guys to be able to see my necklace , but then I would have to like talk like this .

So yeah , anyways .

So today I'm doing a Diy for you and this was something that was actually requested by you guys in one of my previous videos .

If you guys didn't know , I love Galaxies .

I've been obsessed since the third grade when I did a report on them and nothing has changed since when I did my Galaxy Doutt video .

A few of you asked if I could try the Diy Galaxy Slime , which is something that's been all over Pinterest .

So I know this Diy is like a little bit more on the juvenile side , but I'm honestly like five years old at heart .

So I had so much fun making this and I think this is something that's really fun to try if you're bored in the summertime .

Um Also , I just want to say I did get this from a blog on Pinterest that I'm going to link down below .

I know Thread Banger has done a video on this as well .

Oh , I'm not trying to copy anybody .

Of course , you know this was just something you guys requested .

I had fun making it and I'm going to show you how to do it too .

So if you like the video , be sure to give it a thumbs up .

If you have any requests , be sure to leave them down below .

And I'm going to go ahead and get into it .

So the first thing you're going to need for your galaxy slime is clear glue and I use the five ounce ones .

You're going to need one bottle of glue for every color that you want to make .

And then you're going to need water color paint .

I just got mine at Michael's .

You can use whichever colors you'd like .

Finally , you're going to need liquid starch , which I got from a grocery store .

And last , but not least the best part , tons of glitter .

And I just picked some pinks and purples .

This one was completely perfect for the project .

So , what you want to do is start off by pouring your glue into individual bowls and I ended up actually having three total .

So what you want to do is start by pouring in the glitter .

They say to use just a little bit of fine glitter .

I ended up dumping basically all of my glitter in here and I thought it looked great .

So I say , you know , the more the merrier just go for it .

So I tried to keep the glitter with the colors that the um glue would end up being so I had one that was more pink , one was more purple and then one was kind of like blue and black .

So then I went ahead and added in the water color .

So for this , the first time I did it , I accidentally added water with this too and it totally messed it up .

So just add in the paint , don't add any water .

Then you want to go ahead and add in your liquid starch .

Now , this is something that you want to start small and just add more .

Basically , the liquid starch is going to help so that it's not too sticky and it doesn't get completely stuck to your hands .

So you can kind of test the consistency and it's still sticking like that .

Then you need to go ahead and add some more liquid starch .

So just play around with it until you get the correct consistency and then you can go ahead and mix them all together .

Well , if you want yours to look like the ones from the Pinterest blog , my recommendation is don't overmix it because that was definitely something I did and it ended up just being like a full on purple color .

So , you know , just kind of mix it up a little bit but try to keep the colors true to their individual selves .

I'm sorry , it's 2 a.m. That was probably a very weird sentence .

But you know , I'm having that voiceover struggle So , anyways , that's basically it , it's really cool .

It's a lot of fun .

I think this would be a neat project to do if you were like babysitting younger kids , or maybe if you were in charge of watching your younger brother or sister and you needed something to do with them or if you're like me and you're 20 you really enjoy making Galaxy Slide , throw this out and then I realized it looked kind of cool in the bowl .

So I went ahead and I put it in a mason jar because you know , I'm basic , I'm a girl .

I enjoy mason jars and it actually ended up looking kind of cool .

So it was a little bit difficult to scoop in there .

But once I got it , it actually looked pretty neat .

So I'm actually keeping it as a room decor little thing because I don't know , I just think it looks really cute .

So that's also another idea for you .

So I hope you guys liked the video if you have any questions about anything , leave them down below and I'll see you in the next one .

Bye .
