These Rasmei trifle will steal the show for sure .
Brighten up your Diwali sail by including this dessert in your menu .
Just don't let anyone know how ridiculously easy this one is to make .
So let us start by preparing the rasmalai pudding in a sauce pan combined together the corn flour pistachio powder , cardamom powder and sugar start to mix them together as well as to break the lumps .
If any , then whisking continuously , add the milk and the cream to form a smooth liquid .
Now I'm going to add rasmalai essence to this .
If you do not have it , then you can choose to add a big pinch of queer to the milk instead .
OK ?
Put this on flame and stirring continuously mix until everything thickens .
This would take anywhere between 10 to 13 minutes .
I did add some yellow foot color to it but the color was not that bright and I did not want to add way too much food coloring .
So I leave it up to you to decide if you like bright yellow color in your trifle , then just add some more food coloring or leave it .
It is OK .
So a good indication to check whether your pudding is ready or not is by dipping a spoon in it and on the back side of the spoon , run your finger .
If it stays still without having the rush to flow , then your pudding is ready .
Simply transfer it to another bowl to cool completely .
It should be free flowing without any lumps .
Uh The key to achieve this is simply whisk it continuously while you're cooking it on the flame cover with a cling wrap in a way that it touches the pudding so that there is no formation of skin on top , let it cool completely in the fridge for about an hour or so .
You you can also choose to serve this pudding on its own .
It tastes delicious .

And when you take it out , it would have set completely by now simply add it to a mixing bowl and whisk until it is smooth again , set aside .
The next step is to prepare the cream for decoration .
So in a mixing bowl , add in the cream icing sugar and oh OK .

So anyways in goes the icing sugar and then Rasa essence whisk everything until it forms stiff peaks .
Again .
If you do not have Rasmalai essence , you can add three tablespoons of rasmalai milk to your cream .
And if not that you can also add in some cases and cardamom powder .
If not that you can also add pista powder .
And if it , if there is nothing available , simply use the stir or bought ready made whipped cream if you like .
So find all the substitutions for each and every step in a very detailed manner from the blog to make your work really easier .

Now all your components are ready .
Let us assemble the trifle for which I'm going to use these cute little containers here .
You can absolutely use anything for the same .
And as you all can see , it is not even half of half the length of my finger and this can hold up to one third cup of water .
So with the measurements given in this video , I could make 20 such cups .
So first goes a layer of cake , I'm using hot milk cake here .
The recipe is on the channel .
You can use that or use your favorite recipe or just buy the cake from the store .
It's totally up to you .
Then we soak the cake with rasmalai milk .
Again , I'm using homemade rasmalai here .
You can choose to buy it from the stores .
If you wish , we did a super , super detailed full proof uh video on rasmalai just last week .
So you can check that if you like .
And uh next we will add the milk layer , then add in a piece of rasmalai .
I'm also using multitude let to fill in the gaps and also to add some contrast in terms of color .
Again , it is totally optional .
You can use rasmalai only here .
The trifle layers are totally customizable .
You can easily play around with it .
And if you see apart from the pudding , everything else like the cake , the rasmalai , the whipped cream can be brought from the store .
So yes , it is totally super duper easy to put together .
Again , adding more milk to fill in the gaps followed by the addition of the prepared pudding .
If making a big batch , simply fill a piping bag with the pudding and use that it would be easier .
Finally top it with the prepared whipped cream garnish with some roast petals , pistachio , livers and edible flowers .
Trust me .
When I say this , this Rasmalai trifle is by far the best dessert I have made .
I'm literally falling short of words to describe it .
The melt in your mouth cream , the richness of the pistachios in the pudding , the creamy and silky sweetened milk with a subtle texture from the la and rasmalai peas .
And finally the soft and spongy rasmalai cake .
This is pure nirvana .
You can simply pack it in a jar and sell it .
It is that good .
Just trust me and make this one for the valley .
