Hey , everybody .
Thanks for stopping in .
I'm not a big coffee drinker .
In fact , I usually just make instant coffee , just heat the water in the microwave .
But this morning I realized I was out of coffee .
So the only coffee I had was just regular coffee .
So , um , the way I , uh make this is on the stove in a sauce pan .
In fact , uh my stepdad taught me how to make this .
He calls it cowboy coffee .
So I'm gonna show you guys how I do that .
So let's get started .
All right , I do have one of these old school , uh , percolator coffee pots , but that takes a lot longer .
It takes like 20 minutes to make a pot .
I just want to make a cup or two so I can make a cup in about five minutes this way .
So I just put a little bit of water in the bottom of my pan there and I turn the heat all the way up and gonna make like a couple cups .
So I just put in like 22 spoonfuls of coffee like that and you can see it floats on the top and I'm just gonna let that boil until all those coffee grounds sink and then we'll shut it off and I'll show you what it looks like .
As you can see , the water is starting to boil now and I'll just let that boil until all the coffee grounds sink .
Which will probably take , I don't know , 34 minutes , something like that .
And then I'll just shut it up and let it sit for a minute or two .
So all those coffee grounds settle to the bottom and then we'll just pour it into a cup .
This has been boiling for about three or four minutes now .
And as you can see all the coffee grounds sunk .
So I'm just gonna shut it off right there .
I let that sit for a minute or two and that kind of lets the coffee grounds settle to the bottom , then just grab yourself your tin man coffee cup .
And uh when you pour this , pour it kind of slowly .
So you don't stir up the coffee grounds too much and you usually won't get too many of them in there .
If you do get a few , they'll settle to the bottom of the cup and I usually won't drink that last sip of coffee because um , it might have a few grounds in it , but it turns out pretty good if you're in a pinch and you don't have a coffee maker .
This works pretty good .
So there is how you make Cowboy coffee in a sauce pan .
The Starbuck crowd might not be too impressed but it gets the job done .
Thanks for watching you guys and I'll talk to you next time .
