Eggless Ragi Cake Recipe - No Jaggery - No Wheat Flour - No Maida - No Eggs - No Milk - No Sugar

video content Image generated by Wilowrid

Hi , guys .

Today is another cake basics , uh , tutorial .

And today I'm gonna show you how to make my favourite cake decoration technique .

So how to make some chocolate drips on a cake ?

This cake has a lot of other things going on as well .

But today we are going to concentrate on making a perfect chocolate drip and making the garage for the chocolate drip with a chocolate recipe .

You always want to weigh the ingredients , so I'm gonna weigh the chocolate first .

I'm using dark chocolate 70% .

But it's OK because it's warm now , so I'm just gonna leave it aside for a couple of seconds and then stir again and it's gonna be ready .

So now the chocolate is melted , but we need to add a little bit more cream to it so that it becomes runnier and it's gonna be easier to make the chocolate drip .

So what I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna add just a little bit first and give it a mix until it's all nicely combined .

And the more you add the runny area it becomes .

And so you get drips that , um , drip down the cake .

If you don't want really thin and runny uh , drips , then you can make it thicker and leave it like that .

I just testing to see how good it is .

I'm gonna add just a little bit more , stir it in , and now we can see it's pretty runny .

But because my cake is really cold , I want it to be runny so that it actually drips down the cake and also I have a little tip for you that I'm gonna share .

How you can still test .

How good is the drip before you start decorating the whole cake ?

So now I have my cake here and now what you want to do is to choose the front of the cake .

So I want this to be the front of the cake , and I'm gonna start with the back side so that I can test the drips .

So if the drips are going to be too runny , I can still melt in some chocolate to make it thicker .

How you can make the drips go uh , longer is by just allowing a bit more chocolate for each drip then , if you want to make them shorter , just , um , allow a little less chocolate to drip , and that's how you can make them different .

So if you don't want to make them , or even what you could also do is to pour all of the chocolate over the top of the cake and then drip drip it down with a little spatula .

I prefer this technique because I can control the drips a little bit more , and I like how they look when I do the drip with a spoon .

So that was pretty simple .

Great looking drips all over the cake , and you can always achieve this result if you just , uh , make sure the consistency is right .

And now I'm going to blend this until everything is nicely mixed and combined once coarsely blended , I'm adding in 1/4 cup of water and I'm going to blend this to a fine puree once nicely blended , transfer it into another bowl .

And now I'm going to keep this aside , I'm using three ripe bananas and note that the bananas should have some black spots on them .

The more the black spots , the more riper the banana will be ripe .

Banana will be more sweeter .

I'm roughly slicing the bananas and with the fork , I'm mashing the bananas , OK ?

Now the bananas are mashed and I have transferred them into another large bowl , add the blended ingredients into the banana and mix the banana and the blended ingredients into a sieve .

I'm adding in 1/4 cup of raw cocoa powder .

But actually , it's a really , really simple and easy to make technique as long as you , uh , learn how to get the right consistency for the garage .

And also you get , like , the feeling of how to make those drips .

So how much chocolate you want to add so that it pours perfectly .

But once you get those things , uh , covered .

So once you , uh , learn how to do that , you are going to be a chocolate drip expert .

If you found this tutorial helpful .

And if you would like to see more this kind of short tutorials on , uh , cake decoration with tips and tricks , then don't forget that thumbs up .

So I know you would like to see more .

So it's a very healthy and nutrient rich cake with very minimal oil and with the spatula , I'm lightly mixing the raggy flour into the banana mix .

You may need some extra water to help it blend into a nice cake batter consistency .

So first I'm roughly mixing the raggy flour and then I'll add some extra water as needed .

I have measured one third cup of water and I'm adding in half of it and I'm mixing it with this Bachelor , add the rest of the water and mix the batter once nicely mixed , the batter will be thick and creamy .

At this moment , I have preheated my oven to 1 80 degrees Celsius .

I have roughly chopped 70 g or about half a cup of dark chocolate .

You can also use dark chocolate chips instead into this .

I'm adding in about 1/4 to 1 3rd teaspoon of rice flour .

And I'm lightly coating the dark chocolate , which I have roughly chopped with the ray flour .

This will prevent the dark chocolate from sinking down to the bottom of the cake pan while it is being baked , add the roughly chopped chocolate onto the batter .

I'm keeping a side 1/4 portion of the dark chocolate .

Next , I'm adding in 40 grams or 1/4 cup of cashew nuts .

Instead of casts , you can use any nut of your choice , like maybe even walnuts or almonds , any not of your choice will be ideal .

And I have kept aside about 1/4 of the chopped casts .

This will be used to garnish the cake and with the spatula , I'm again lightly mixing all your can say , I'm folding the chocolate and the nuts into the batter .

Do not over mix .

We just need to lightly fold the ingredients into the batter .

Now to bake the cake , I'm using a round baking dish into it .

I'm adding in a couple of splashes of wood , pressed coconut oil and grease the pan with the coconut oil .

Make sure you grease the sides as well and then place a parchment paper in the center and then transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan level , the top with the spatula Sprinkle , the roughly chopped dark chocolate on top and Sprinkle the casts as well .

I'm going to bake in my preheated oven at 1 80 degrees Celsius for about 30 to 35 minutes or until done .

Remember that the oven temperature varies with the oven .

So please keep an eye on it after about 25 minutes and after 30 minutes , the cake is nicely baked .

I'm inserting a toothpick in the center and you can see that the toothpick comes out clean .

So I'm gonna allow it to cool down in the pan itself .

And once it has cooled down , I'm running a knife through the side .

This will help to release the cake easily from the pan , remove the parchment paper and place it onto the wire rack and allow the cake to cool down completely and once cooled completely removed from the wire rack .

So guys do try this healthy cake recipe and uh let me know how it turned out .

Thank you for watching and until next time , take care .

Bye bye .
