How to Write Your Resume With Little or No Work Experience 2020

Hello guys , welcome back to my channel and for today's vlog , I'll be sharing with you six effective tips on how to write your resumes that stand out and get noticed by online clients .

Plus , if you stay until the end of this video , I'll be sharing with you two bonus trips for those with little or no work experience .

So hello there again .

So before we get started , I just wanted to be clear with one thing and in the spirit of transparency , I wanted to let you guys know that I have already stopped um sending out resumes and that is because I transitioned my mindset and I now treat um freelancing as an online business instead of unemployment .

But I understand that most of you , my viewers are just starting out in uh in the freelancing industry .

And plus I , I receive a lot of requests in the comments and the private message just that you sent me .

So I figured why not create a blog that would help you , you know , attract the prospects that you want for your freelancing .

All right .

So now that's out of the way .

Uh let's get started with today's topic .

So in the world of freelancing , there are basically no rules that apply .

And that's because what matters more are the results that you are able to deliver to your clients if indicated .

Just look at the story of Chelsea and Faith Jesse , um , doesn't have um a college degree at , but she's able to get a client to trust her to manage their Amazon business .

Same with Faith who is a finance fresh graduate man , despite her lack of experience in managing , um , Amazon accounts for Amazon sellers .

Still , she got clients , she got clients to trust with their businesses .

All right .

So again , um , take my advice with a grain of salt and apply any tips that would fit would best fit and suit your needs .

All right .

So , um for online resumes , uh you can actually visit , can dot com , create a free account there and choose from a selection of free templates for resumes and what I love about .

It's , it's user friendly and you can share it with your prospects by just giving them the link to your resume or downloading it as a PDF file .

Now , let's get started with the first step .

So the first step is to have a clear offer statement so that when your prospects view your resumes , they can instantly know what service you provide .

So in the sample resume that I showed you , my offer statement reads , I help Amazon FB , a sellers find profitable products using my three step proprietary product research strategy .

And if you don't have one yet , I'll be linking the video tutorial that I did uh previously to help you craft your own offer statement .

Tip number two is to add a call to action on see your resumes and you can link your Skype ID , your email address .

But in my case , I like linking my calendar account where they can see my calendar and book an appointment with me through that um application .

So um having a good call to action is a good practice because you're actually telling your prospects what they should do so that they can get in touch with you personally .

I like putting two call to action buttons , one at the top and at the bottom .

But qualifications they can um see the call to action button and click there and make a schedule to have a call with .

Now , tip number three is to make your resumes or details good size and only include relevant information , not apply to your target market .

So for the first bonus tip , you have to make sure that your statements are benefit focused .

So right now , while your prospects are looking at your resumes , there's only one question running in their minds and that's it .

What's in it for me .

So for your resume to stand out and stick to their minds , you have to answer the question on how they will benefit just in case they choose to work with you because considering a freelancer , so you have to make your statement benefit focus .

As you can see in the resume , the three qualifications I included don't necessarily uh pertain to Amazon va experience , but I was able to reward my sentences showing them how they can benefit from me given my background and I even emphasize those benefits by underlining them .

So I hope that makes sense .

All right .

So now let's move on to tip number four .

Tip number four is optional , but this can be a powerful ammunition that you can include to make your resumes more impactful .

And if you don't have any um background or experience yet showing them showing your press prospects that you have invested in trainings or courses , gives them the idea that you are really serious in giving them the results that they want .

Uh the good thing about um having trainings is as you can see in the sample that I've given you , I was able to leverage on my coaches reputation .

Um I interned as uh I , I interned for a seven figure Amazon seller in doing those things and doing those skills .

And if you are part of the elite master class , you can also um borrow and leverage the reputation of your coaches .

Now , um if you don't have any budget yet or attendant training , then it's um ok , it's ok to remove this part and get started with the qualifications .

Ok .

So uh tip number five is pretty simple .

It's just um adding , you know , a personal touch by giving them or showing them a one minute video introduction of you speaking .

So um this is also optional because not all people are really comfortable regarding themselves like this in front of the camera or their phones , but it adds more credibility , especially the it feels more real realistic .

So um that's something that um I I noticed video introduction and I mean video introduction , so video introduction , but uh how I speak , how I present myself and that's an additional factor .

And plus you can actually rehearse and memorize your script , but you would sound more confident in your recording .

So , so tip number six is you have to offer value of .

So I I always say this in my other blogs now never fail to give value to your clients .

Why ?

Because when you offer a value , it actually demonstrates that you know , something that you have a process , if that makes sense to them , they will contact you , they will reach out to you .

So in my sample resume , I am so um since I invested in a course , I was able to record myself giving them a walkthrough about my process .

Since I'm offering product research for Amazon sellers , then I show them how they can find uh their next winning products and I even give them tips on how to do that .

Now , now uh for those people in to enroll the course , then this is my second bonus step for you .

So on Google or youtube just type the skill that you want to learn and try to watch a video tutorials , then a record and do your own version because in learning by doing uh one thing you and absorb information .

But another story when you get to practice it and apply it out and uh yeah , record your own version of it and um and I tell them it's possible .

So it's gonna be challenging information more over , over um information , let's say FB ads , Facebook ads .

So we just have to um see through those information and you know , there's no way to know if or unless you try it , you know , by , by yourself and try it on actual clients and see results .

So challenging .

Yes , but it's still possible you just have to be patient with the process .

All right .

So those are my six helpful tips on how you can make your resumes more powerful and impactful .
