Hello , my dear friends .
Welcome back to my channel .
I hope you're all doing fine .
In this video , I will show you process of drawing a female face full of emotions .
Actually , I was going to draw a regular study of a face usually .
And um I used the reference photo for creating the basic proportions of the face and facial features .
And then when I was studying the photograph , I just felt like the face was kind of empty and like I could blank page not telling any story .
So I decided to put some feelings into it to express something more , maybe even myself .
Hm , maybe you can find yourself there as well in her glossy eyes .
So I looked for some photographs of people expressing their emotions , feeling sad , crying , feeling any pain .
And I could see we are just the same the way our eyebrows band , the way the skin falls into little wrinkles when we have some troubles , um the shiny sparkles in the eyes and I took these little features and I tried to apply them into the sketch .
It was kind of therapy for me , I guess to go through this .
Um I could also see how it affected me just watching these photographs , even though I did not know any one of those people , I could feel some kind of compassion or comprehension .
And so yeah , not just the drawing itself was part of a learning process .
I spent much more time with this drawing than I had expected .
I kept redrawing these eyes and I felt like the book was still unfinished in the middle of the plot all the time .
So and the words just couldn't stop coming .
Hm Also , I wanted to make her eyes the main character of the book .
I wanted to make you feel I identified with the character .
Um I tried to make them pop off the paper uh also to adapt to them .
So I use soft pencils to create really dark values , maybe because I felt like adding more and more would make them speak loudly for me and still keep something mysterious for themselves at the same time .
Yes .
When it comes to the rest of the drawing , it's , it also took a lot of time .
Um And I wanted to build up the values gradually with very soft layers of shading .
Um You can barely see the progress at this moment .
Each stroke makes such a little difference .
You're getting there , you're getting to some visible results really slowly , little by little .
But the results show up in the end , I love to learn from the drawing practice .
It's never only about developing the techniques of drawing .
It's a learning process offering much more when we try to find the real value behind everything we do or go through .
And it's not easy at all .
I know .
I know , I know .
Um but this joining taught me to be more , a little more patient .
Well , I wish I would be even more patient , but I believe I'm on the right way .
Mm All these little light pencil strokes make such a huge difference all together .
And I realized that even though I can't see the results immediately , there can be a huge difference in the end .
It's actually really helpful .
Yeah .
Uh in case you would like to um watch the real time versions of my videos and see more tips and narrated processes .
I um would be really happy if you consider becoming part of my patron family .
Um The link is in the description down below this video and there are more than 150 videos right now and there are also a few tiers to choose from .
So yeah , it would be great to to be part of your art journey and um you can cancel any time if you if you don't want to continue and there will be a huge support .
So thank you for that .
I believe we shouldn't try to hide our tears or sadness and cover it with a smile .
Instead , teas may be a way in the nature taught us .
To speak .
When our mouth keeps quiet , it doesn't even affect her beauty .
Just notice her eyebrows today bend like a spine of an open book you can easily read from .
Mhm .
Her wrinkles are like a tattoo on the skin coming from something she would truly remember just inking without the pain on the outside and her ears quietly say all the unspoken words softly care .
Her skin showing sympathy and tender self care , a face , sadness from her face and lead everything down to the ground to water , seat of relief .
And I actually almost finished her story .
But then I realized I did not like it .
I did , I did not like how it was going .
I'm not sure why exactly .
