Salsa Dancing - Club Style Hand Moves

Hi , this is salsa dot com podcast .

My name is Anthony and today we're gonna just teach another combination that has a few hand tricks .

Um Again , um the hand tricks might seem complicated at first uh for the average person , but it's really , it's just a visual effect .

Once you master the hand movements and kind of have that muscle memory for them , the faster you do them , the more complicated with the separation , the more uh cooler it looks really .

But it's a really simple step as I start the step , I'm just gonna give her a regular right turn using two hands .

The only difference is as she's doing her turn after five , I'm gonna sneak in for one turn .

Ok .

So we come forward on the 123 as she does for a five step .

I'm actually going to prep my five because I already know ahead of time that I'm going to sneak in for the turn .

So she's gonna start doing her 5567 .

OK .

Very simple with a little bit more speed .

So you can see how it looks like 123567 .

Ok .

So another way to think about it is I , I step , I step and I step OK .

Now we end up with this hands like right .

Uh Yeah , like now like this , here we go .

There we go with .

Just make sure your right is uh is , is above .

Now when you're in this position , all you have to do is take your right over your left over and then your right over again .

OK .

Again , we're here , I do right left , right , looking from this angle .

I'm here .

After I finish turning , I do right left right again , the more separation , the cooler it looks OK .

From here , I'm actually gonna come in and slide out of the way to do a cross valley with return .

But of course , let's do it from the side .

So I finished this move and I'm here and this is the exact same thing we've done in other moves where you go 123 to open up for a cross by lead .

We come here poop .

We finish doing all those hand changes , keeps us , uh puts us in the same position as you can see .

22222 , same position .

However , from here , I'm gonna do five and I'm gonna fly it all the way just a little bit five so she can keep coming forward and as she's doing that , it's the same push , I'm using my hands to do that five .

We do 567 and then she ends up finishing for 123 .

Ok .

So with more momentum , of course , here we go .

We do 123567123567123 .

Ok .

Now from here it's just a regular cross by lead with a turn 567 and just 123567 .

And now to do it on two with the accounts very simple .
